What a fantastic, professional, informative evening with 'Claire Edwards' - Maesygollen Stud, her Team and their most amazing horse's. With us all learning so much, with the opportunity to ask questions and truly probe into the Do's and Dont's of the Showing world. We all went away with a new found respect for the Traditional Coloured and what it takes to show them to this exceptional standard. Safe to say we were left wanting more so I'm sure if I ask really nice Claire Edwards will be back for more hands on showing experience with our own horse/pony - watch this space.. Many thanks to all those who helped make this evening a roaring success...... You know who you are😄😄

In all this wet weather our tack is taking a battering. Don't forget to check your Stirrup Leather for damage, over stretching, thinness etc as the nights begin to draw out and with a bit of luck 🙏 more hours to ride. An Introduction to Showing An Evening with Claire Edwards - Maesygollen Stud. Always wanted to have ago at showing but not sure where to start? Have Shown but would like to learn from the Pro's? How do you get those white bits white?... If you want to know the answers to these questions and more, then this evening is for you. The Edwards family breed Welsh and Welsh Part Bred Ponies and Cobs as well as Traditional Coloured Cobs. They have shown Nationally and won many prestigious Cups/awards attending hundreds of shows. Maesygollen Stud will be demonstrating showing In-Hand as well as Undersaddle. Explaining what the judge is looking for and how to put together an individual show. We will be looking at some of our favourite products for grooming, the ones that really work!😃 The demo will conclude with a questions and answer's session.

Some great discussions and plans for events to put into place and newly elected committe members. Great venue at Coracles Health and Country Club top hospitality.
