We love it here comfortable seats...friendly staff... food is expensive but isn't every cinema...

Tried the XPlus for the first time tonight, can really recommend it.

This site is excellent for people who do not wish to go into Cardiff centre. Parking, restaurants and ease of access is why we use this site

Love the pictures- always space when we go great service!! A good night out

I’m disabled and every time I come to the cinema the service is outstanding my latest visit yesterday morning to see Paddington 2 was the same as always staff are friendly toilets clean and as for all the people who complain about pop corn etc either take your own or don’t buy and give RBI’s cinema some love well done every one now looking forward to the new frozen and peter rabbit I will be back

I went to see the greatest showman as a surprise treat for my birthday on Tuesday the 13th Feb with my daughter it was my 1st visit and we had a fab time thoroughly enjoyed and will definitely visit again heather xxx

I went to see everything everything yesterday was very happy with the service I received and the room I was in was empty so was able put my feet up as ive got bad legs so much was very relaxed throughout the movie,only down side is that the trailers go on for far to long.

Booked online to see Paddington 2. Online booking was easy, we skipped the queues as my ticket was on my phone. The film was great and the experience was excellent. As with any cinema the food prices are silly and the 'booking fee' on top of the tickets was disappointing but it's par for the course.

The only thing ... Y don't u let us use the insider cards daily .. if you were in America they use there cards every time u go to get rewards and to make people go more often.

The assistant selling tickets yesterday afternoon (14/2/18) was lovely, polite and knowledgeable about the films.

Last 4 visits there were not enough staff serving though, long queues at each counter. Would rather not choose a seat, customers either can't see the seat numbers or ignore the choice made. Not working well in my opinion.

Our local cinema, plenty of free parking, comfortable seats. Usually visit in the afternoon when it's less busy but had tickets for the pre screening of the brilliant Finding your Feet on 15/02/18 and screen 10 was full. Snacks etc. are overpriced so I take a few of my own.

Nice and cool in this hot weather. Friendly helpful staff. Great movie selection, and I like that they have cup holders.

Lovely and clean and the film was fab my only complaint was it was absolutely freezing in there. I sat with my coat zipped up the whole way through the film. Even my two daughters complained how cold it was and that's very unusual.

I regularly use Showcase in Nantgarw as it is the closest cinema to home. Sometimes I use my Insider Membership, other times I might use my Meerkat Discount, and occasionally, I just pay full. Prices for tickets (not discounted) are pretty standard compared to elsewhere. Snacks & drinks are quite expensive, but this is the norm at cinemas, so I go prepared & pop in Tescos first, which is just around the corner. I’m my opinion the staff are quite friendly and I have never been spoken to rudely. Queues to get tickets are sometimes quite lengthy at the desks, but people can opt to use a ‘self-service’ facility which is right next to the desk. Funny enough, it rarely gets used? Even when the queue is pretty enormous😂 It doesn’t bite. And, booking online is also a breeze, so, there really shouldn’t be a problem getting tickets.

And, onto the toilets & cleanliness... and once again, I have never had a problem. I will have a moan about something though, and this is something that another person has mentioned, is the complete lack of social skills of other members of the public. Regularly I have to move away from people chatting, crunching sweets, looking at their phones... really?? Why do these people go to the cinema is they can’t be quiet for a couple of hours? Staff should really turf these people out, as it is totally unfair to others paying customers.

When I first called to purchase tickets, it has to be said I was disgusted with the prices 2 tickets at £18. I was only advised I could sign up for the Insider card after re-calling to speak to a manager. I then found that a student ticket is actually 45p more than the Insider discount so worth watching out for. I know its only 45p but still the total was £14.45 before even paying for drinks and popcorn. If i'm honest would only visit here to see a show I really wanted to see and not on in my local cinema as they charge just £3.50 a ticket.

Went to see the darkest hour which was very good but I was 15 minutes in a. Queue to get tickets, more staff needed at busy times!!

Very over priced, only went there instead of Premier, because I had 2 for 1 meerkat vouchers.

So glad we had pre bought tickets for follies as queue was so long people were getting so mad! Only one person on counter. Again a long queue for coffee. General appearance not great. Shortage of staff to clear up tables in foyer. Floors messy. Feel they need to get better at customer service in general or more negative reviews will be posted.

Over pried on everything, staff were lovely but the popcorn was stale we didn't start eating it until we were sat in our seats and tried eating a bit but it was all stuck together with no taste and did not have time to return it without missing part of the film

No real problem with the cinema or staff but the smell from other customers ‘munchies’ was so bad we nearly left partway through film!!

Never used to have an issue at this Complex but my wife and I attended this week to see Justice League and was asked if we wanted a particular seat, we stated we didn’t need a particular seat as the Cinema was empty and we could sit anywhere if that was ok. The film started and low and behold an elderly couple came straight to our seats stating “ We always sit there and we asked for those seats especially” If it’s full then fare enough reserve seats but when there are only 8 People are in there, Just sit down and enjoy the film for Christ sake.

Like all cinemas it is so expensive to buy drinks or sweets if you have children with you.

Need to take out a loan to buy popcorn !

Great cinema enjoyed the film, very comfortable, staff are polite. Parking was good. We went for a 2:30 film. We were strait in.so expensive to watch a film and and buy snacks. It's handy for me as don't live to far and free parking.

Go every Friday the staff are helpful and cheerful.

Disappointed to learn today that if we had gone to Odeon to watch IT last night, I would have saved about £9 on the ticket prices. You should really do a separate rate for teenagers 13-17.

As most people good picture sound way to loud. And tickets way to expensive they do know it's not Cardiff centre!

A lot more expensive than other cinemas and the "sweet popcorn" we had tasted plain was awful.

Tickets are far too expensive! No signs to sell you where the screens are. Over priced and not value fir money. Even the hot dog was overdone

None of the flushes worked in the ladies toilets, told staff twice, excuse the pun but no shits were given. We’ve just sat in the cinema for 2 hours absolutely freezing, a man went out to ask for heat, we had it for about 5 minutes then more cold air � also you really need to re-evaluate your prices, nearly £18 for two medium popcorns and drinks when the popcorn was stale at the bottom �

My wife and myself went to see The Darkest Hour yesterday afternoon for the 1.40 showing, we we’re disappointed to see there was a long queue and only one person on the ticket desk, it took us 15 minutes to get our tickets and it was looking like we would miss the start of the film. Management of the cinema need to look at this problem and make sure there is enough staff on, instead of cost cutting

Comfy seats in the XL room, very loud and Bloody expensive!

What a joke this cinema is, I cannot believe the rudeness of staff, the experience I had was absolutely disgusting, so much so I had to leave, having complained to management I haven’t received an apology not one single sorry, for being Falsely sold a large drink that was 2/3rds full don’t go here! Rude staff and overpriced rip off!!!

Staff are disgustingly rude. What I presume is the manager strolling around with white hair is obnoxious. Will never go here again until standards go up!!!!

It's too expensive and although we were allocated seats, some people were sat in them. So expensive for drinks and sweets and popcorn. Cost over £22 for me and 2 kids to watch D me 3 and then £25 for 2 pick and mix one small popcorn and 3 drinks. Never going back there. Cheaper to go to Blackwood and pay for parking!

Had 5 tills, One person operating the till, one person passing stuff to the till operator. 4 tills sitting vacant with 10+ queuing. Prices are shocking £4.50 for a coke - you don’t mind paying more is you get good service, unfortunately this wasn’t the case.

Gents toilet were disgusting ... the smell from the urinals stings the eyes ... 👀 shocking

Awful experience, children running around and crying when you spend £30 to watch a film this isn’t what you expect and then to be told by the manager well it’s a pg film � missed so much of the film, went to this cinema as had the same experience at Blackwood but don’t mind so much there as it’s so cheap will def not be returning and will continue to go to Blackwood.
