Seats are comfortable, lots of leg room and seats recline. Avoids the madness of Cardiff city centre on a weekend, but the screens are small and prices are £3 more expensive per ticket than town. Would only come here if there was a major event on in Cardiff.
A great cinema with up to date video and audio with 3d option. Well staffed with friendly crew. Disabled parking and toilet facilities and ample choices of screens. Free parking .
I cannot believe it! Came to Nantgarw cinema to expect a great time, but noooooooo. I was ready to enter the cinema and guess what?! The bloody cretins tried to stop me. The man grabbed my popcorn and threw it out of my hand like a bull in a China shop! He then kicked me in the jaw... I can't believe it.
For what it is its not bad, the place is tidy the service is good and they have allot in the complex. Problem with this place and many other is the price. For a film and a few treats for your family u would be hard pushed spending less than £60, this is just too much and for most people out of their budget. Me personally, feel this is the biggest reason that pirating is such a big thing. It's just too expensive. But if you want a well maintained, clean, friendly well manned all be it expensive place to spend your film watching outing! Then this is a perfect place for u to visit.
Nice cinema, lots of parking with a few restaurants in the vicinity. Cant rate it higher purely because it is SO expensive (both tickets and snacks), especially with another cinema close by in Merthyr only charging £5 a ticket.
Prob not so bad if going as a couple, but for a family of 4 it gets very pricey. Take your own snacks!
We always enjoy our visits to this cinema. A few changes now though. You have to select your seats at the desk when you pay to go in. No idea why as there was never a problem before. 😕😕
Never full. Such a pity. A fairly nice Cinema but a bit pricey for the refreshments...
Visited a couple of days ago. Screening room was clean. Sound, picture and view was good. Pretty happy experience over all.
Lots of screen and a big place in general. Plenty of parking and nice staff. You don't have to talk to anyone really if you go there at a decent time which is always great.
Prices are the same as most chain cinemas and you can just take your own snacks in.
The screens and sound are perfectly acceptable.
