Unconventional watercolour artist

Sian Jordan is a self-taught artist. Having had no further education in art, it's given Sian a raw and unique talent in expressing her own style. She admits she is influenced by many of her favourite artists but she tries not to capture this in her own works. Sian was born and raised in Durban, South Africa, she then moved to the UK at 22 years old and lived in and amongst London's rich, vibrant culture, There, Sian started a family. The family of three now resides in the North East of England where she believes that the lifestyle there has made her allot more content and the need to create and flourish. Sian states that she believes her style is still developing and cannot wait to see what her future holds in her new art career. "Taking a big leap becoming a freelance artist is probably the biggest challenge I have ever faced, but I believe in myself deeply and have much support from close friends and family. I want to be a good example for my son too, to let him see and realise how his mommy had a dream, chased it and conquered it. I need him to believe that he can also be anything he wants if he sets his heart and mind to it! " says the artist.
