Silkie Hare Description
SILKIE CHICKENS;
The Silkie is a breed of chicken that is identified by its soft, down like feathers that give the chicken silky fur-like feel.
They are a perfect family pet! Due to their sweet, docile and friendly nature, they are also good with children.
Silkies are an excellent chicken for those who are new to owning backyard chickens. They are a low maintenance chicken and because of their small size they are also perfect for smaller gardens and don't scratch up the ground as much as regular chickens.
There are rarely fights between Silkies even the males can happily get along with each other. They are usually easy to care for and since they do not wonder or fly away there isn't a lot of stress involve.
BELGIAN HARE
The Belgian Hare is actually a breed of rabbit rather than a hare. The breed was developed specifically to resemble the wild hare in appearance.
The Belgian Hare is one of the most intelligent and energetic rabbits. They are not a recommended pet for children as they can be startled by sudden noise and movement, their size and speed may cause injury. They are also not a beginners rabbit for the same reasons. However are great for more experienced for rabbit owners. They also have more specific needs because of their naturally athletic nature.
They need a large hutch and plenty of room outside the hutch to exercise.
