We've had this stunning FB Rx7 of Joe's in this week, unfortunately this time for diagnosis of overheating and with all the necessary tests performed it only leaves the coolant seals suspect on this 12a, which means the engine needs to come apart.
12a engine parts are becoming increasingly hard to come by nowadays but we do all we can at Silver Fern Performance to source the parts and build the best and strongest engines possible.

Fantastic to see this group B Rx-7 rally car today running one of our engines, on the dyno for a set up years after the engine was originally built.

As per customer request, we fabricated frames for the original rails to accept these bucket seats in the series 1 Rx7.

Looking back in photos, we absolutely love this car.
Remember to watch out for the common oil pressure issue with the 350z HR motor which is usually due to a blown oil gallery gasket, we have carried out this repair multiple times.
If you think your car may be suffering from the above issue, do not hesitate to get in touch for our diagnosis and if necessary, repair work.
... Luckily for the customer this one was just in for service work and didn't display any symptoms of the oil pressure issue.

Somehow we forgot to take a picture of this fantastic motor while it was in the shop, but caught up with the owner at Three Sisters in Wigan where it was on show.
Anton commented on how brilliant the brakes were after they had an extensive service at our workshop. Looks amazing, goes and now stops well too.
