Silverdale Inn & Lodge
Reviews
You get what you pay for and in this case it is fairly basic but comfortable and warm. Access to the area of Pembrokeshire is quite good and to be honest we enjoyed ourselves.
I didn't get to talk to anyone after the first evening and at the end we dropped the key through the letter box.
I would have pointed out to the management that the electric shower in cabin 5 was leaking inside the unit and definitely needed to be looked at as it might be dangerous. They probably haven't had that feedback because they weren't there when we left so hopefully they will take that information on board now and sort it before someone has a nasty / fatal shock.
That said it was clean and very good value and apart from the shower I would recommend it.
My 11-year old son and I stayed during a cycle tour and had a warm welcome and a really nice evening meal. It was nice to be in our own lodge, with our own front door, and the beds were comfortable. The staff were pleasant and helpful, but we had to store our bike outside in a semi-sheltered position and there was no option even for a cold breakfast when we had to set out before 07:00. Overall good value.
Budget motel style accommodation. Friendly owner and staff. The rooms and restaurant decor are in need of refreshing. If your more concerned about your pocket than your luxury, it's an option.
Lovely staff food is great and the rooms are clean, comfortable and child friendly. Me and my 4 year old son had a warm welcome and a good night's sleep it's a perfect place to rest we will be staying there again.
Thanks Andrew and Lucas
Clean & comfortable accommodation and very good value for money. Ideal location if exploring Pembrokeshire. I must note that the food was excellent.
Really friendly staff and the owner goes above and beyond the call of duty. All in all the experience was way better than expected
Lovely little place. Nice and quiet and even though the furniture and rooms are dated I loved it I thought it fitted in well with the location.
The food is absolutely amazing at the Silverdale Inn. We've been a couple of times now, and they have their bar menu, and restaurant menu. My personal favourite is the 18 hour slow roast belly pork and thrice cooked chips. Out of this world. Highly recommended.

Exceptional food! Absoloutly divine meal is so nice to finally have a decent un-pretentious restaurant in Pembrokeshire. Never before eaten home-made pasta let alone in Pembrokeshire! Lots of complimentary touches aswell like homemade pesto and bread before our meal and fudge after dinner. You can tell the chef really cares about the food as he came out for a chat with us after dinner to make sure everything was ok. The only negative i can think of is that the restaurant is quite confusing to find as it is tucked away next to the large building. If i was going to nitpick a little bit more pesto would of been nice with the bread. All in all definetly reccomend! We only ended up paying £45 for two people, three courses, a bottle of wine, drinks and tips! Which is exceptional value for the quality.
