This week is the start of the new harvest of potatoes. This means that the 'new potatoes' are very soft, sweet and creamy. To ensure we keep this product to a high standard we will be trying to cook in smaller batches and cooking for longer. This may result in longer cooking times for chips. This will last a few weeks or so for the potatoes to become more firm. Thank you for your patience.

The really fresh chips were brilliant and the battered sausage was fresh too... Curry Sauce <3

The fish was just beautiful. The best fish I have ever had. Nice thin crispy batter not stodgy thick batter like other places. Keep up the good work guys. Beautiful

Lovely food at Simon's Plaice. Staff are very nice, food was cooked to perfection arriving quickly and the portion sizes are very generous. I recommend the burgers and chips

I would just like to thank you all at Simon's place for the order of 53 various children's meals that were delivered last Thursday to the Ysgol Y Ddraig's year six leavers disco ! Delivered dead on time and steaming hot !!! You made some very hungry 10 and 11 year olds very happy Diolch

would highly recommend your fab service !!!

I couldn't fault the cod and chips I had but my one small criticism (if it can be called that) was the sheer volume of chips. I ordered a large cod with small chips but there was still a mountain of chips that could barely fit on the plate. Half the amount of chips you get would still be enough. So my criticism is, I'd sooner pay a quid or so less and not have such a huge pile of chips. Heaven knows what a large portion would be like.

I'd still have them again though and would definitely recommend them.

Well very disappointed an hour and ten minutes for delivery and chips and fish cold and ordered a shandy and had dandelion and burdock instead . The guy taking orders needs sacking
