Located in the Leisure@Cwmbran centre in the heart of Cwmbran we are located on the 1st floor above Frankie & Benny’s restaurant with the entrance opposite the bus station. We are surrounded by free parking so access couldn’t be easier. Cwmbran is our newest club that opened on the 25th January 2016 and is our best yet!

Full of the latest Life Fitness equipment you will not be disappointed with the range and quality on offer. As an official Hammer Strength Certified training centre you’ll also find what we think is the best range of strength training and free weights around.

Workout Wednesday!
Inspired by the team of members from @simplygymcwmbran who will be taking on #toughmudder with the goal to raise awareness for the charity Mind we've made this workout as a challenge for you all.
- 2km run... - X5 lengths of the monkey bars - X5 Walking lunges (from the ramp to the powermill) - X5 (each side) Bag lift to the shoulder - X20 floors on the powermill - X20 burpies

Workout Wednesday! Here is a quick workout targeting the #booty🍑 that you can try in the gym -Powermill for 5 mins as a warm-up -Resistance band landmine squats 10x4 -Resistance band hip thrusts... (5x4 both legs)+(5x4 single leg) -Cable kickbacks 10x4 each side -Straddle squat jumps (30sec work/15sec rest)x4 -Stiff leg deadlift (30sec work/15sec rest)x4 -Weighted wall sit (30sec work/15sec rest)x4 -Plank with a kickback (30sec work/15sec rest)x4

... Biography I have been fitness orientated my whole life, from a young age playing football, rugby, running and swimming every chance I got. Likewise coaching, part time jobs teaching swimming & surfing on a one to one bases was always something I enjoyed. Starting in Simply gym as a manager was one of the best things I could have done and led me on the right path to eventually meeting Michelle and joining Lift fitness. The one to one side of personal training is my favourite aspect of the job, getting to know someone, making them comfortable and finding exactly what works for them.

My last 2 + years in Simply Gym I have gained so much experience in many aspects of the gym. The part of the job I enjoyed the most was the inductions and welcoming people to the gym. From complete beginner to the most experienced of trainers everyone has that ‘new gym anxiety’ and addressing people’s needs and making sure they were comfortable with the equipment and environment was something I loved to do. I am looking to continue this with personal training. Introducing people to the basics of the gym, weight training, healthy eating, compound exercises and helping people feel better.
