We were given fantastic customer care throughout, excellent communication this week while I’ve been waiting to collect the car even down to little details like making us endless lattès and biscuits! I’d like to give a special thank you to Sasha in the Newport branch for amazing customer service yesterday and over the weekend! This time last week I had no intention of getting a new car just a yet, but after a test drive and her talking me through the best car options for me I drove away with a new Golf yesterday and I’m so in love with it � she even threw in the golf car mats and a data plug free of charge! Would definitely recommend ��

I loved the video updates I received, it's so much nicer than having to phone and chase us dealerships for progress, you don't need to because Sinclair vw has it all covered and you are informed the whole time!! Brilliant!!

It took only 6 days for me to purchase and pick up my car. Such an easy process and could rely on them to answer all my questions, Jared found me the best deal possible for the right amount of money. Im very quick to complain but i want to counter balance that with a positive review! After 4 issues with a simple service in mid December (3 very minor issues but 1 worryingly basic issue and potentially catastrophic for my engine) i returned the car to Sinclair on Monday. The "worrying" issue was resolved but i wanted to express my concerns with someone. My wife and i were invited in to Lee's office, the Aftersales Manager, where i was greeted with a very amaible bloke which u couldnt help but instantly feel at ease with. He patiently listened to my concerns which were verified by their computer records and most importantly, sympathised. He wasnt defensive at all. As compensation he has offered to carry out a couple of small jobs on my car FOC, and fitted it in just a week later. Coincidentally, another problem on the car has arisen since the service and he has agreed to cover half the cost of this work too! Today, i cannot fault the customer service i have received from Sinclair, in particular from Lee. Thank you. It is much appreciated! And guess what - when it comes to changing my car in about 12 months time, i will be very much considering visiting u. I just hope u have an immaculate used Passat estate GT or Rline 2.0TDI DSG on ur forecourt! Thank you.

Id put more stars if i could! Long story made short, had a couple of issues with my service when it went in before xmas. Spoke to the Aftersales Manager and he offered a deal i couldnt refuse. He took my car in with a weeks notice, gave me a courtesy car, resolved the issues i had PLUS fixed a couple of ourstanding faults FOC! All in all the service ive received from Cardiff VW this past week has been second to none. From the Aftersales Manager, the lady on the service desk who was absolutely amazing and the technicians in the workshop who didnt give up on a certain issue until it was sorted. Thank you Cardiff VW. I am one very happy customer. This is a lesson on why you should use the main dealer!

I used to have a very negative opinion about VW Bridgend due to several ignored calls and emails when trying to book my Skoda Octavia VRS in for an Air Con service and just decided to go elsewhere but I must say I’ve given them a second chance in the last 6 months for MOT in October, another visit in November which I got a great price on a Cam Belt & Water Pump change and Brake Fluid change lastly this month - must say the quality of service has vastly improved to what it was 18 months to 2 years ago with several new faces in the Servicing Team. I’d really recommend to anyone to take their VAG car there being as no SEAT or Skoda dealer in Bridgend as they offer the same services and are competitively priced.

Nick in sales couldn’t have been more informed, helpful and professional. An absolute pleasure to deal with. I also had great customer service from Elis who went above and beyond. Bridgend Sinclair Service dept - would 100% recommend they are absolutely brilliant and helpful. Very pleased with the work carried out on my car, and the ease of the process of booking in and collecting my car is due to the service desk staff. From start to finish I couldn’t be happier.

Car service carried out in Cardiff branch last week, I booked online for £159. When I dropped car off they confirmed what I was having done, upon pick up the price was £175. When I asked why they said for oil as requested. The additional oil charge was removed when I explained that I didn’t authorise it and luckily I had an email to prove it. This isn’t the first time something extra has been added at bill time. It feels like a con and I expect better!

Took car in for 1st service, less than a week later oil change service notification coming up. Phoned them and they said must have forgot to reset it and to bring it back in!! Not the service you would expect from VW

Really not happy as my car went in for a full respray and they have sprayed over the chips with you can still sea they didn't spray my wingmirrors and I have over spray on my door rubbers and a sharp edge on my bonnet I have taken my car back there 3 times and they still can't do it professionaly I really am gutted as I am a vw really not worth paying £3907.00 a back street spray garage would of cost my £1200 and they couldn't do any worse than Sinclair I really am fucked up with other people's incompetence never again

I was completely disgusted and disappointed in the service provided by the Newport branch. I took my car in for a service and upon completion I was told that the windscreen washers were in operable and I would book in again to get them sorted. It turned out to be just a fuse. 2 days later I discovered that it was leaking brake fluid from the back very very badly, this should’ve been noticed by the service people across the back wheels. When taking it in they tried to charge me further. I will not be returning to the dealership again and I will not be buying another Volkswagen car again.

First car for my daughter, amazing sales team BUT after service shocking!! We’ve emailed and called several times regarding the cars spare key which was meant to be given to us once they had received it but nothing???

Now cars full of water, still under warranty and they want £75 to put it on diagnostics and £400 if it’s a leak ���

Car booked in for a service and MoT today with the Newport Branch, collected from the office no issues, phone call to tell me it was all ok and being returned - thought to myself this is all good. Get back to the car and get in with a mate to drop off at the station on the way home and the car stinks of cigarettes, looks like it’s only been half valeted as well. Drop mate off and ring Newport, ‘sorry mate you’ve missed the service department call back in the morning.....’ wouldn’t even take a log of call or anything! Turned a positive experience into a complete bitter taste, so it’s now my job to chase them to fix the awful smell they’ve left in my car.... not what I’d call positive customer service

Car service carried out in Cardiff branch last week, I booked online for £159. When I dropped car off they confirmed what I was having done, upon pick up the price was £175. When I asked why they said for oil as requested. The additional oil charge was removed when I explained that I didn’t authorise it and luckily I had an email to prove it. This isn’t the first time something extra has been added at bill time. It feels like a con and I expect better!

Took car in for 1st service, less than a week later oil change service notification coming up. Phoned them and they said must have forgot to reset it and to bring it back in!! Not the service you would expect from VW

Really not happy as my car went in for a full respray and they have sprayed over the chips with you can still sea they didn't spray my wingmirrors and I have over spray on my door rubbers and a sharp edge on my bonnet I have taken my car back there 3 times and they still can't do it professionaly I really am gutted as I am a vw really not worth paying £3907.00 a back street spray garage would of cost my £1200 and they couldn't do any worse than Sinclair I really am fucked up with other people's incompetence never again

I was completely disgusted and disappointed in the service provided by the Newport branch. I took my car in for a service and upon completion I was told that the windscreen washers were in operable and I would book in again to get them sorted. It turned out to be just a fuse. 2 days later I discovered that it was leaking brake fluid from the back very very badly, this should’ve been noticed by the service people across the back wheels. When taking it in they tried to charge me further. I will not be returning to the dealership again and I will not be buying another Volkswagen car again.

First car for my daughter, amazing sales team BUT after service shocking!! We’ve emailed and called several times regarding the cars spare key which was meant to be given to us once they had received it but nothing???

Now cars full of water, still under warranty and they want £75 to put it on diagnostics and £400 if it’s a leak ���

Car booked in for a service and MoT today with the Newport Branch, collected from the office no issues, phone call to tell me it was all ok and being returned - thought to myself this is all good. Get back to the car and get in with a mate to drop off at the station on the way home and the car stinks of cigarettes, looks like it’s only been half valeted as well. Drop mate off and ring Newport, ‘sorry mate you’ve missed the service department call back in the morning.....’ wouldn’t even take a log of call or anything! Turned a positive experience into a complete bitter taste, so it’s now my job to chase them to fix the awful smell they’ve left in my car.... not what I’d call positive customer service
