The Ski Smiles team, hope everyone has had a lovely fun filled summer. It’s not long now and our new term will commence. The next block of our inclusive children’s ski sessions will be released the first week of September. We look forward to seeing all old and new members soon ⛷🎿⛷

Summer school holidays are here !! Ski Smiles- Inclusive Skiing are breaking for the summer holidays throughout the remainder of July and August and will return in September. We hope everyone has a fun filled, sunny break, making lots of gorgeous memories ready to tell us all about them on our return

Fantastic to welcome more new families to Ski Smiles Inclusive skiing this morning. It was extremely hot , but these children make us proud week after week💙

How amazing is this weather ?? Not as good for skiing though... Tomorrow’s Ski Smiles session is once again going to be a hot one. If you are booked on to the session but now are unable to attend please let us know. Please remember all skiers will still be required to wear long sleeved tops, trousers and gloves due to insurance purposes

This evening, our team held our very first sit ski / level 1 instructor open evening for volunteers. Our first step to becoming fully inclusive. A huge thank you to all our gorgeous volunteers who attended this evening, and also our amazing team for their continued commitment to Ski Smiles. The future is looking very bright and even more exciting #community#inclusive#volunteering

Ski Smiles Inclusive Skiing, have been awarded funding to purchase a Sit Ski to enable us to become one step further in becoming a fully inclusive club. BUT WE NEED YOUR HELP.. Are you a parent/carer of a child who access’ our sessions ? Or do you just have a spare few hours a month to give a little back? ... Ski Smiles are looking for 6 people to do their level 1 with us and train to use a Sit Ski so we can support our inclusive community further. We also have some funding to support the course costs for individuals. Please let us know if your interested and can make our open evening ⛷ LETS MAKE A DIFFERENCE TOGETHER

Due to circumstances out of our control, we have had to change the date of our next Ski Smiles session. The session will now be changed from next Saturday the 30th to the new date of Saturday 7th July. Everyone who has booked a space on the 30th June session, will automatically be transferred to the 7th July. If you are unable to make the 7th please let us know so we are able to open the space up Many thanks

Well this Saturday was just amazing! These ski smilers are coming on leaps and bounds every week now. All while enjoying lots of fun and making new friends

Our session tomorrow is fully booked !! Please remember to arrive at the centre as close to 8.30am as possible, to collect all equipment needed. As our team want your children to gain as much from our sessions as possible, we will be closing the centre doors at 9am promptly, to enable all coaches and children to have a full hour session on the slope. Looking forward to seeing all our Ski Smilers soon ⛷

The New inclusive skiing sessions for children with additional needs / disabilities and their siblings, delivered in Cardiff South Wales. Breaking through barriers, Providing opportunities in a safe environment. Helping and encouraging children with social growth, building confidence by interacting with others in an environment where differences and disabilities are accepted and welcome. Our sessions are delivered every other Saturda...y, through Cardiff Ski and Snowboard Centre. Our aim is to build our social network, source funding, equipment, volunteers and awareness opportunities to enable us to deliver and grow our community group in South Wales and surrounding areas. The only thing that could get the kids up early on a Saturday morning. Coaches and staff are fantastic and it is amazing to see the kids improving each session

So friendly and reassuring for children and parents of all Abilities

My son had such a great first experience of skiing with at the ski smile session. Donna made him and our family feel so welcome and the staff at ski centre Cardiff could not have been more helpful. Thanks everyone.

It's brilliant for my son and he is excelling in the 'ability' friendly environment
