Training for the Creative Industries in the convergence area of Wales

We will be running 30 short courses, which will be credit-bearing and full or part-funded for those who live and /or work in the Convergence area of Wales (West Wales and the Valleys). All courses will require 30 hours contact time with tutors and industry expert tutors and will have the option to submit project work to gain credits towards an MA.

Courses will run from February 2012 to summer 2014 and will cover a range of areas – from advanced animation techniques to business skills, games & app development, advertising design, photography and craft skills.

*The Skillset Academi + scheme will be funded by the EU’s Convergence European Social Fund (ESF) through the Welsh Government. If you are in private sector employment and live and /or work in West Wales, North West Wales and the Valleys, you may be entitled to a fully or part-funded place on the range of courses offered by Skillset Academi + .
