Did you know the law changed last year in regards to transporting your dog in the car? Your dog now must be restrained by a seatbelt or in the boot with a guard so in the case of an accident your pet is contained. Failure to comply invalidates your insurance and can lead to a £2500 fine! We have a good selection of restraints, car harnesses and seats for dogs.

Hello everyone, we have been experiencing a very high demand for grooming appointments throughout January which is continuing into February. Two of our groomers are working extra days to help accommodate clients. Can we please suggest you book your appointment as soon as possible to avoid waiting. Kind regards, Alison.

shaz & rita are really pleased and ready for scruffs now ! their new cuts have made them young again and frisky as puppies on the beach. many thanks to aunty tracey (evans) who has worked hard on these two prima donna mongrels ! they are both extremely happy and far more settled with their new "do's", an achievement "muy increduloso" as rita was a spanish street rescue dog and shaz a spoilt maesteg cariad! - dai iawn tracey and mucho gracias ! xxxx

Well what can I say fab dog groomers all soooo friendly and will do anything for u gizmo, mojo and poppy had an amazing few hours being pampered! And they came back looking and smelling amazing and soooo happy defo recommend them and I've booked them back in for 6weeks time 5 star service thank you sooooo much! Xxxx

We were looking for a new groomer for Sid, our Westie, having recently moved back to Barry. He visited Sleek and Çhic for the first time this week and they did a lovely job on him. More importantly, they treated him with care and respect, and listened to my requests and concerns, as I'd never left him at a grooming parlour before. He seemed to love the experience and trotted out with his tail wagging. Can definitely recommend the personal service and very reasonable price. Their pet shop, My Favourite Pet Shop, next door is also great, with a wide variety of food, treats, toys and more. Helpful advice and personal service. Far better than big chain stores! Please support these small, local businesses.

We have been taking our dog's for a while now always great service and always the dog's are cut to our liking.

Tried a few groomers to hand strip my border terrier, this was by far the best he's had. Billy will be visiting again. Very happy doggy and owner. Thanks Kate, great job.

Took our 2 puppies here today and I can't tell you how happy I am with the results. Thank you sooooo much �����

Took my pixie here yesterday for a full groom she came home looking & smelling absolutely beautiful. Took my nans dog today for nails to be clipped, fit us in short notice and the prices are great too. Lovely ladies at the shop that treat myself and the dogs with great care. Definitely recommend. ��

Took Dave our Staffy up this afternoon and was good as gold for them ! Washed, dried and nails clipped thanks guys!

Our Jack had his first visit to the groomers today, he wasn’t so sure at first but when I came back to pick him up he was happily settled. He’s had the full treatment and looks absolutely stunning, like a puppy again, and all beautifully soft!! Thank you ladies, I know where to come next time ���

My dog Jagger....the craziest hair you've ever seen. Well I came home to the cutest westie I've ever seen! He is so difficult and awkward...but this is the best he's ever been done.

Kate was amazing today with Reggie, both of us a bit unsure of what to expect as was Reggie’s first groom but Late did just what I wanted and Reggie looks and smells amazing ��

I took my Jack Russell here for his first ever groom today, he's a little bit nervous of new places and things but Jade was amazing with him and did a fantastic job! Thank you x

I take my dog to the groomers every couple of weeks and each time she goes they are welcoming and friendly always ready with advice if I need it about something and my dog comes out smelling gorgeous!! I wouldn't take her any where else cos I know my dog is in safe hands when handed over for her grooming session. I would deffo recommend the groomers to other people!!!

Highly recommend Sleek &Chic. Staff are extremely polite and professional, and take great care over Mollys groom. Love the pictures on fb

Had our Cairn Ruby hand stripped here this week! What a great makeover she's had! Best hairdo she's had for years! Thank you sooo much to all the lovely staff who couldn't have been more helpful and attentive! We will be back!

Gizmo has had his first full grooming session today. Alison and the girls were very patient with him. He's come home fluffy, looking cute and smelling gourgeous.

A massive thank you to Kim and the team at Sleek and Chic for turning our mud covered, matted working cocker, Cass, into the most beautiful, fragranced version of our favourite species of dog! Cass is 9 years old and has only been clipped twice in her life so this is a big ordeal for her (and for us!) She looks amazing and we are so grateful to you all - people have been asking us today how old our "puppy" is!! Thank you again - see you next year x
