Snowdonia Guided Walks

Out on the Rhyd Ddu path on Friday with John and Toni from London - it's almost refreshing to have a bit of low cloud and interesting skies after the past 8 weeks of sunshine!

Fantastic weather on Tryfan yesterday - including a C-130 Hercules and an A400M Atlas on a low flypast along the Ogwen valley.
Not quite the Mach Loop but pretty good for a day at work!
Please excuse the quality - a compact camera and holding onto the rock at the same time don't make for the best images :-)

Does it count as an uncrowded summit if you bring the crowd along with you?

Phil and Sarah took this group of guys out on Saturday - an airy guided mountain walk in some fantastic (and slightly uncharacteristic) Snowdonia weather!
Thanks to Phil aka Exposure Mountaineering for taking care of them for us.

On Saturday we were up early (0200!!!) to go over and meet the team of 35 walkers from SFS Wales to work with them on Snowdon and Cadair Idris for a Welsh Three Peaks Challenge. The weather was perfect, everyone got through the challenge safely and in a good time.
Thanks to Richard, Chris, Jan and Dave for escorting the team, and congratulations to Ryan and everyone from SFS Wales on completing their challenge!

Another busy weekend coming up as we head into June - groups heading into the mountains of Snowdonia tomorrow, Saturday and Monday.
The next day off is in October! :-)

More sunny days in Snowdonia - if the weather keeps up like this we will have to amend our kit list!

It's been a busy few days for our teams of leaders in Snowdonia - but we've been taking advantage of this fantastic weather and great views!
It's also given us an opportunity to collect litter and abandoned trailmarkers left behind by the organisers of ultras and adventure races from last weekend...
