Really good place to stay. Recently came here as part of course work for geography and we had a great guide taking us up Cwm Bychan and around Betws y coed. Lovely food provided to us by amazing staff. Would definatly recommend again.

A fantastic place to stay during your trip to Snowdonia. The hotel and garden is fantastic and the surroundings are amazing. The price is very reasonable and the rooms are comfortable.

We didn't stay here but stopped by to visit the gardens and house. Reasonable entry and pleasant gardens, café provides lovely tea and cakes with fantastic views. You can take the woodland walk and head up to Lake Mawr and the railway station, the walk wends its way through woods with lakeside views. If you like to walk then well worth a visit, leave your car at the house and follow the paths in the guide.

This is an absolute find. Wonderful value for money.

The position of house has a stunning view of the valley. Parking is easy.
I had a chalet to myself which was well furnished and a mere two minute walk from main house.
Breakfast was good and staff very helpful.
For exploring North Wales this is a brilliant base.

Sehr sehenswerter Rhododendron-Garten, ein Imbiss ist auch möglich.

I visited this place on a school trip in May. I was given room 23 which had a single bed, a bunk bed, a table and chair and a sink. I had to go down the corridor to have a shower. The bathroom had asbestos in it and the shower had some greenish-greyish stuff on the bottom of the tub so I wore my slippers in it. The food was good but some was over cooked or under cooked. Our neighbour's room had a big hole in their wall. On the first day there was no hot water but it was then fixed but on the last day it went cold again. The place where it was put was pretty awful as there was a winding road that the coach could hardly get up. My room was right under some main stairs(not the big wooden stairs) which was extremely annoying as me and my roommate could hardly sleep with the noise of people trampling on the stairs. I had to walk a long way to the main hall(also annoying) .

I would like to see a bit of renovation in this house and some more cleaning. Overall, I wasn't happy with the house.
