What a great pub, most real ales on sale are brewed on site. Good food and friendly staff, dog friendly with outside beer gardens.

They also have their own camp site adjacent to the pub!

User

Went out for a meal tonight as a birthday treat. lovely pub as it is family friendly and dog friendly too. the food cannot be faulted really lovely homecooked food and enjoyed every bit of it and they do not skimp on it either plenty of it. very generous portions. thank you snowdonia park xx

User

We have just had a couple nights on this site with the grandsons & we have all had a lovely weekend, food was fantastic, the grandsons had the meal deal & the size of the kids burger n chips was huge, but the kids loved it, the staff are very friendly, will recommend the campsite & pub, we will be staying again

User

The beer is fantastic, excellent selection of real ales which is brewed on site along with an excellent selection of lagers and ciders too and of course guiness. There is something for everyone.

Had an excellent meal .Really good choice and really good prices . The menu is quite extensive and the staff are all really friendly and efficient.

Having stayed the night in the campsite which is adjacent to the pub we decided to partake in the breakfast.

I can quite honestly say that it was the best full breakfast I have had in the last 5 years

I would recommend the snowdonia parc to all of my friends. Excellent! !

User

Lovely staff and great food really enjoyed it would go again

User

Great pub, great food, great campsite. It was.....

Great.

User

Food in the pub was amazing, would definitely recommend it, why cook when you’re on holiday xx

User

Fab spot...stayed for new years eve...staff couldn't of been friendlier or more welcoming...allowing my partner to use the phone to call his daughter on nye as no signal at all here. Campsite facilities themselves are basic but all you need for a short stay...great home cooked food and a free buffet put on for nye. Will definitely return!!

User

Excellent location beautiful views and a river at the bottom of the overflow field. Facilities clean and serviceable - no frills but all you need is there. Micro brewery beer and pub food is great value and the staff are friendly and helpful. We liked the simplicity of this site and although there was an issue with the power one night we were there, it was sorted quickly. The railway station is right at the site (not noisy) so amazing to be able to hop on a narrow gauge steam train seconds from our caravan! Loads of room for kids to play and dog walkers peaceful and beautiful. Location is perfect for many great villages, lakes, activity centres, castles, gardens, coastline - list is endless. We will certainly return again to see the site in summer.

User

Brilliant place and lovely good value food. Freshly cooked and the best cheesy chips around. People are so friendly. Definitely good portions much to my growing grandsons delight as the eldest finishes off my meals. Lovely beer and well stocked on all drinks. Great play area for the kids lovely gardens front and back and transport sorted as the steam trains stop right outside the pub. Great for walkers. A real pleasure to visit.

User

Been visiting for years. Great food and friendly. The food is reasonably priced and they don't skimp on the portions. We have tried most dishes. I love the sausage, chips, eggs and beans. Comments about the food being microwaved I would question. You can see into the kitchen as you walk into the rear lounge and see that it is freshly prepared and cooked. Only comment is that is they need to reintroduce the lasagne.

User

A nice country pub with friendly staff. We tried all their own cask beers, they are a brewery too, and all were top quality and excellent. My wife and I settled on pints of the Gold for me and the Stout for her, completely backwards from our normal routine. The Gold was very malty and full flavored and the Stout was very light and not at all roasty, just lightly toasty and malty.

User

This place provided excellent hearty wholesome food however the kitchen closed at 8.30 the evening of our visit. My hubby really enjoyed the golden beer. Our only gripe was that although the barmaid was really pleasant she kept popping outside for a fag and leaving the bar area unattended and leaving the outside door wide open causing an uncomfortable draft. The place would no soon have warmed up again when she would pop out for another fag lol

User

Right on the Welsh Highland Railway station at Waunfawr the site has all you need and a brewery and pub too, great food and beer after an afternoon cycling to Bedgellert and on up to Llanberis and back, location is terrific

User

A lovely location friendly staff a railway on the dorstep and good food and drink what more could you want.

User

Perhaps I camped at the wrong time of year though for someone that loves the cold and snow I should have had a great times think the shower block being over the railway bridge took the edge off for me. But it was clean, spacious, and despite the walk the showers were hot and a good pressure. The pig was once with very friendly staff/owners and the beer was fab.....good heart menu too and great pork scratchings. Even though I marked it down slowly based upon my lack of sleep and walk to the showers, next time I'm visiting Snowdon with my tent I'll be coming back.

User

It was a cold and rainy Easter and having climbed snowdon came back soaked to find no showers, no lights and pot washing across a railway bridge to a remote block in the dark. Same again second day. We were next to two toilets where the sink was blocked on all our three nights.

This is dark ages stuff. For the money we got backpackers facilities, I have stayed in fields with better facilities.

By the way the pub grub and ales were fine.

User

Brewpub is a nice charming little hideaway. A few of their own beers on tap. Food is reasonably priced and plenty of it. The campsite was noisy at night for our first two nights but was quite after the rowdy ones left. Two large groups kept us awake. The showers have motion sensors for the lights. If you're not quick in the shower and no one comes in then it can get dark in the shower. Really nice having the steam train station at the side of the site. This is the second time we have stayed and would stay again. They could do with publishing a time for people to be quiet and providing a number to call if there is noise.

User

We only had 1 night here which was just as well. The food was microwave reheats and not that great. The pub staff were nice enough but wouldn't get over excited. The showers are ridiculously placed in comparison the to site. A 5 minute walk in your PJs is not ideal. The site is next door to a barn which had a bloody dog barking from when we arrived at 5pm to 1am in the early hours. It then went quiet for a while until 3.30am and the cockerels started which set the damn dog off again. We left at 10am and won't return. Its a shame really because it could be a really nice site with the right facilities
