CTC Autism is an interdisciplinary team working with individuals with difficulties in communicating, relating and thinking. We want to support them to become happy, secure, social and creative people, who can think outside the box and think on their feet.

We base our treatment on the Developmental Individual Relationship Based (DIR®) Intervention Model. We believe in a child centred developmental approach that celebrates each individual for who they are while building on their strengths. Our goal is to help and inform others on celebrating the children /adults individual differences and understanding those differences to help them reach their potential. Progress must start with a relationship. We want to support children to become happy, secure, social and creative people, who can think outside the box and think on their feet. We must respect and support each child’s unique profile while promoting development through meaningful, relationship-based experiences. The relationships that support this development are built on respect and trust. Once we have taken the time to get to know the child and learn about the unique way in which they experience the world, we can support them in reaching higher levels of development.
