Softsell Computer Services was born from the restructuring of Softsell Computers Ltd.

Softsell Computers Ltd was established in 1998 by 3 friends. Located at 199 High Street, the company originally traded in new & used console hardware and games, along with a decent selection of PC titles.

As the console side of the business flourished, one of the owners noticed that the town of Blackwood was in desperate need of a dedicated PC hardware repair /sales store. The upper floor of the premises were duly converted into a new PC department and immediately proved to be a runaway success. Cheers Big G!

One owner moved to America, and after mounting competition from the High Street chains, the remaining two friends amicably dissolved their partnership in 2004. The console side of the business was wound up and the PC service was uprooted and rebranded as Softsell Computer Services by its current owner.

The new company was situated at the rear of 201 High Street, where it enjoyed easy access from one of the main car parks in the town.

In 2009, the business uncontrollably slid sideways in the heavy snow that year, and ended up in its current location at the rear of 199 High Street.

We are still here, having outlived most of our competitors, so we must be doing something right!
