Solar Professionals Ltd, trading as SolarPRO UK, is a first-of-its-kind training & employment facilitator start-up. We aim to seek, train and deploy a new workforce who will build the UK's wave of subsidy-free utility-scale solar farms. Through a number of government, academic and private commercial partners, we will create a world-leading training academy specifically designed for large-scale solar, combining theoretical classroom learning, with practical hands-on applications and innovative technologies to upskill a new workforce through a range of sector specific qualifications and accredited learning. Coupled with this, will be an industry specific employment agency who will directly employ hundreds of trained candidates and will deploy them into live solar farm construction projects. With over 40GW's of large scale solar in the UK planning pipeline, the doors closed for European Labour following Brexit and the governments net-zero targets, there is currently a massive void in skills and available resource to build the UK's solar farms. SolarPRO UK intends to provide an end-to-end solution to seek, train and deploy candidates and to become the catalyst to build the next subsidy-free pipeline of solar farms in the UK.
