As a Registered Nurse (RMN) at a Central Surgery care home, you’ll look after the physical, psychological and social needs of our residents to help us deliver the quality care they deserve.
We’ll look to you to create a safe and supportive environment for residents with range of physical and mental health needs, whilst also relying on your professional judgement to make critical clinical decisions. You can expect a wide range of responsibilities, from developing tailored car...e plans to providing medicine safely and delivering excellence across everything you do. As a Registered Nurse (RMN), you’ll have the autonomy to do things the right way – and be truly valued and respected for what you do.
ABOUT YOU
You’ll need to have current NMC registration and a good knowledge of the most up-to-date clinical practices to join us as a Registered Nurse (RMN). Experience of producing well-developed care plans and detailed risk assessments is important too, as is an understanding of regulatory frameworks, including DoLs/MCA and Royal Pharmaceutical guidelines. Dedicated and compassionate, you’ll pride yourself on your person-centred, thoughtful approach to nursing. 1859 - Central Surgery medical facility Tredegar now owned by Spectrum Healthcare soon to be Tredegar's only Nursing home. Serving the people of Tredegar once again.

Spectrum Healthcare are pleased to announce and welcome Alison Hickman RGN RMN .Alison comes to us from another local nursing home and has vast experience as a RN1in hospitals and Nursing home Matron /manager. Alison will manage the Nursing home the famous "Central Surgery" where the NHS began. " Central Surgery, Tredegar, was built by theTredegar Medical Aid Society in 1911. The society had been established in the late 19th century supplying medical care to local subscribers. By 1933 the Society was supplying the medical needs of 95% of the local population, and was used as a model for Anuerin Bevan's formation of the National Health Service in 1948".The home is currently under refurbishment & then registration with Care Inspectorate Wales as a nursing home for older adults with EMI provision.
