Basic site but excellent, family run pub and site, excellent food and Sunday carvery. Extremely good dog friendly. If you like a good old fashion pub and grub this is the place for you

Excellent .. Very warm welcome Outstanding food and excellent choice of beers. A Good old fashion pup . Very few of this type of pubs left these days. Would Highly recommend this pup for both food and drink .. proper home cooked quailty .... 10 out of 10....

One of the best Sunday lunch we had four a long time

New owners have let the place go to the dogs. I feel so bad for the previous owned who put so much time and effort into restoring the building, only for it to be squandered on these new foolish owners. The staff were lazy last time I visited, food was dreadful and crockery was in an absolute state that churned my stomach. As I was leaving the husband and wife owners began arguing in front of myself what other customers were there. Can't believe this is the same place me and friends would love to go to after work on Friday, seems like a different place.. and not in a good way.
