Sports Direct

The staff have no customer service skills. I have been in twice now and both times the staff seemed to want to avoid me rather than help and would walk away from the till when I'm ready to buy. Bought my dad some trainers for Xmas and the box was very smashed up. Before I could ask for another one the staff member had walked away. Not impressed.

All sports amenities under one roof..

The staff were courteous and helpful.

Large stock, except for size 13 shoes (my size!) but the store is generally scruffy with dust-bunnies all around the floor and fitting-rooms all of a clutter with leftover clothes, clothes-hangers and dirty curtains.
It was just the same when I was in there 12months ago when I brought the situation to the notice of the manager who appeared to be completely underwhelmed by my comments.

Not bad for clothes, not a very good selection of trainers

Got there at 7pm on a Tuesday and said they were closed when it says here your open until 8pm. Drove 20 miles for nothing!
