Today is the last day of the Victorian Festival in the near by town, Llandrindod Wells, to mark the end of the festival every year they have a torch lit procession followed by a fantastic fireworks display, all welcome and well worth seeing! As you approach the lake to the fireworks display there will be local volunteers or the lions club collecting if anyone would like to donate towards the event which if you’ve enjoyed and I’m sure you will then please do and come back and enjoy it again next year! Don’t be put off by the weather there are displays and things on in doors and it looks to be better in the evening for the fireworks!💥💥
Lovely review from guests leaving today, I’d like to say a massive thank you to Gary who even though he’s on holiday as he fits pvc doors and windows he kindly went round my lodge and shower block adjusting the doors for me! Absolute star thank you very much they all work perfectly now!👌🏻

The World Alternative Games begin today in Llanwrtyd Wells. The opening ceremony is at 5pm in the town centre, and you’re welcome to join us. Indeed, you’re welcome to join us over the next 17 days. From worm charming to bog snorkelling, wife carrying to space hopper racing, gravy wrestling to backward running and much more. We’re easy to find on the A483 between Builth and Llandovery, and the idea is simply to take part and have fun.
