Fancy a weekend away. On the1st/2/3rd June at Springhill Farm. Horse riding and social weekend for adults with an interest in horse riding. Make new friends, enjoy the great off road riding and views. Novice to experienced riders welcome. We have faster day rides for the more experienced, but shorter rides/lessons available if you have not ridden for a while. Novice day rides, lessons and hacks. Rain didn't stop play on show day at Springhill farm today. Week 2 of another successful teenage riding holiday and as the pics show, fun was had by horse and rider in the games!!

Week 1 of our summer teenage riding holidays. The sun has shone and great fun has had by all!

Springhill is alive with the sound of music, with the ITS student choir from Indonesia staying with us while performing at this years Llangollen Eisteddfod. We have listened to many hours of practice already and it's paying off for them.

3 day first aid at work course completed with flying colours! Huge thanks to Medi-K First Aid for Horse Riders for returning and updating us all.

What a fantastic place! Lovely surroundings, warm hosts and beautiful horses.

My daughter has just come home from a teenage holiday and cannot wait to go back. She loved every minute. Thanks Steve, Sue, Dawn and everyone there for sending back a very happy, very tired teen!

Went to spring hill from the 21st-26th and it was one of the best things I have ever done❤️I loved it there so much everyone is so nice and the staff always do what they can to meet your needs. The horses there are well behaved and lovely and I can't wait to go again next year!!��

Went here for the first time today and loved every minute of it. I used to ride but haven't done so in a very long time, the staff put me at ease and were really encouraging. Within five minutes I felt like I'd never stopped riding! Gorgeous scenery on the ride too, what more could you want? I will definitely be going here again and would highly recommend to anyone from novice to the more experienced rider.

We have just come back from a fantastic weekend! 6 people and 5 horses!! Sue let us hire a horse for our friend! Cottage was fab, stables nice for the horses and far too much grass!! We were worried about getting lost but found we were able to navigate the bridle ways well as they are well signposted! Had a little jump in the Menage! Special thanks to Sue though who helped out today as my towing car had problems with the clutch and we had to call Equine Rescue to get the horses back! All home safe now, horses and owners shattered!!!! See you next year!!

We had a fab weekend away at springhill. Lovely, friendly stables and wonderful hacking. Sue and the staff were really welcoming and made our horsey holiday so relaxing. We had a nice cottage, field to turn the horses out and stables, lovey haylage and straw bed for the horses....couldn't ask for more!

The staff at Springhill were very patient, knowledgeable and helpful.

They were there to help the beginner and a good time was had by all.

The scenery was Awesome and we rode in fields where there were sheep.

I really enjoyed the riding experience.

I would definitely recommend Spring Hill Farm.

Really enjoyed our three hour hack last week, thank you for a nice, sociable ride too! Great views, good gallops, amazing variety of trails in the open and in the woods. Well managed place, we'll be back!

Our uni club have just got back from our annual riding holiday and we have had the best time ever. The weather was perfect and the riding was even better. The horses were perfectly matched to each rider. Thank you Springhill for another great holiday! See you next year!

My daughter who is usually a very timid character has been going to Springhill Pony Club for some time now and last week she learned to canter. She is 9 and was beyond excited. The Riding Stables have improved her confidence and ability to talk to other people enormously. Although in truth she doesn't care about that at all. She just loves the horses, riding and spending time with people who understand her love of ponies.

Thank you Kate, Ellie and Charlotte. You are all great with Chloe. It is very much appreciated.

My daughter has just got back from a week with you and hasn't stopped talking about what a fantastic time she has had. It's now midnight and she has just finished showing me her photos !! I am very jealous ! Thank you for making her dreams come true.

My daughter came home from a riding holiday at Springhill Farm last Friday, and hasn't been happy since! She had the best time ever, absolutely loved it and didn't want to come home. Beautiful countryside, lovely people looking after her, a great group of girls and horses 247....she was in heaven. Thank you Sue and Steve for looking after them and feeding them, and thank you Kate and Charlotte for all the riding experiences. Lucy had the most wonderful holiday with you and desperately wants to come back. If only she was old enough to apply for your summer job! Thank you all, hope to see you again next year.

I took a group of Brownies up to springhill to do their rider badge at it was absolutely fantastic their instructor kate was brilliant talked them through all the basics but made it fun and kept them interested the girls had a fabulous time and completed their badge would highly recommend springhill stables

I am currently on my second riding holiday and im loving it so far. The staff are amazing a big thankyou to Dawn Rebecca and Jessie for taking me on amazing fun rides. I have enjoyed trying all of the different ponies but Dougal is my favourite of all time. The camping is amazing and the trail ride to get to it. And sheep along the way yes Dawn lol. But the horses and staff are lovely I would recomend this holiday 110% and can honestly say it will be a fun holiday.I will be deffinetly be back this year and next year.

Following a recommendation from a friend, Val and I thought we'd give Springhill Farm a try. We've been twice now and fully intend to make this a regular venue. Yesterday's ride was pretty chilly and quite soggy underfoot but the horses, Badger and Maisie, were sure footed and well behaved. We both had lovely rides and thank Steve and Kate for their time and guidance. The countryside is beautiful and the variety of rides sound amazing.

First time visited springhill. I'm an experienced rider but my partner isn't. They found the perfect horse to suit each of us and made us feel at ease. Definitely be back but will do 2 hours than just the hour now my partner has conquered his fear. Beautiful views on the hack.

Excellent day out. They were amazing with the kids, Dawn managed to get a very frightened child on the horse and he ended up loving it. Beautiful scenery. Shame about the rain, but it made for a more exciting ride! Thank you Steve and the girls for keeping us all in check. Well worth a visit!

Been out twice with Dawn this week. First time I was on Badger and the second Sky. They are very well behaved horses and the scenery is amazing. The hacks where both small parties and the riders were paired on ability and experience. Can't wait to go again x
