I enjoy helping horse and rider 'become one' through correct and effective use of the seat and instil an enjoyable enthusiasm to improve!

I am a fully insured Freelance Coach and Horse /Rider Trainer with over 45 years experience. I have spent numerous hours training with a number of top professionals over the years and have competed and trained a wide selection of horses in all disciplines. I want to share my passion for better riding and pass on all of my knowledge and experience gained. I have developed a unique style of coaching based on 'feel' and empathy with the horse. My main belief is that "less is more" with horses and my motto is: "feel - respond - ride"

From the age of 11, friends called upon me to ride their horses and ponies that they had lost their confidence with or, had developed issues with. They would ask me for advice and to help in schooling their horses for them. I have enjoyed these opportunities immensely and have developed my own technique for improvement.

I have competed in all disciplines and believe that a good command of dressage /flatwork is the basis of all other disciplines. If you get the true basics correct then, the rest falls into place so much more smoothly.

I have a sympathetic approach to both horse and rider and use empathy to develop harmony in their partnership. I have a 55mx20m manege which you can bring your horse to or, I can visit you at your yard.
