It's always a treat to visit the Garden Centre (and Tearooms) at Saint Ishmaels.
The end of 2016 saw the garden centre under new ownership and it's a pleasure to see how the place is developing its own character. While there are plenty of plants and pots to browse through, I enjoy looking at the things you wouldn't expect to find in a Garden Centre, and bought clothes, placemats and coasters on my last visit.
There is a beautiful church nearby, with parking and with easy access to some superb coastal walks, so I often turn a visit to Saint Ishmaels Garden Centre and Tearooms into a good day out

We recently visited the Garden Centre, and were very impressed with the plants and knowledge that was passed on to us. However the café really let the side down. We waited ages for our breakfast, and when it arrived there were no condiments offered. The knife and fork were wrapped in a serviette, which was put on the plate, and had soaked up all the juice from the tomatoes and beans and was unusable. We had to go and attract the waitresses attention to get replacements. We had waited ages and still no drinks had arrived and then we had to again get the waitresses attention to get our drinks. Not good. 5* for plants 1* for café.

Go quite frequently and always pleased at the variety of plants etc as well as the menu and cooking in the café. Recently there has been a change and the food is really very good, especially the Sunday roast!! All very reasonably priced. The staff there are always very welcoming, friendly and helpful. a great place all round and a shame it is not very well known and off the beaten track. Be back soon for my winter pansies!

Garden Centre is amazing and the staff most obliging and go out of there way to be more than helpful and I just have to say The Gardeners Breakfast is to die for!!!!!!
