So, eleven new first-aiders now trained up for Powys divisions and a new training assessor for the organisation. Thanks to all of the delegates from Welshpool, Bettws, Newtown and Llandrindod who made the day so worthwhile. Thanks also to our colleague from Rhayader who gave up her time to assess the candidates.

Tomorrow sees us delivering a training and qualification session for our new colleagues in Llandrindod and new friends from other divisions in Powys - more first aiders serving our wonderful communities. #whatagreatfeeling!#

Today we are supporting Brecon With Bells On - Christmas Lights/Entertainment/Market. It promises to be a fun time with festive cheer and the chance for some early retail therapy! As the festive season draws near be sure to keep yourselves safe and well. Best wishes to you all from St. John Ambulance in Llandrindod Wells!

Congratulations to Ysgol Trefonnen and their fabulous Friends committee for a fantastic fireworks display this evening. As ever we were proud to serve our local community and our cadets also thoroughly enjoyed the opportunity to experience being out on duty. With 4 adults and 9 cadets turning out it was a night to remember! New members are always welcome by the way! No experience required and all equipment and training is provided for free.

We will be parading on Sunday as usual and also providing first aid cover for the evening service in the memorial gardens in Llandrindod. We are all so proud and humble to be involved in both events.
