Every year, more than half a million children under 5 need to go to hospital after having an accident at home. A further 67,000 are injured or killed simply playing in their gardens. What’s even more frightening is that 83% of parents questioned by Mother & Baby magazine admitted that they wouldn’t remember what to do in an emergency.
But don’t worry, because we’re here to help you. Attend one of our free Child & Infant First Aid Taster Sessions to learn the basics that could save your child's life.
Who it is for: Parents, Siblings, Grandparents or anyone who comes into contact with children and wants to know the basics.
What you will learn: Basic first aid skills specific to children and infants, including; Child and infant CPR Choking
Certification: All delegates will receive an e-certificate of attendance from St John Cymru.

Today was a huge success! With our team out in force not only providing First Aid cover at local events but helping to run our incredible Open Day! - if we do say so our selves 😉
Ceri William commented "Just wanted to thank you so much for the fun day. We live locally and walked over only to be greeted by some very polite and enthusiastic cadets selling raffle tickets! Another girl gave my 3yr old a detailed tour of the ambulances - she was so knowledgeable, patient and polit...e! All the cadets who we spoke to were a credit to you and we just wanted to congratulate them and wish you all the best!"
