Stables Bar - Y Stablau

Great food - nicely cooked. Ambient & relaxing atmosphere. The staff are friendly, they forgot our nachos but to be honest we were full by our delicious mains so they refunded us.

The only place in Betws-y-Coed open for food after 9. Or so it seemed. We had a walk around thinking there would be many places open for dinner but there weren't so we went to the Stables which was open for food until 10pm. Good food & fairly priced.

Love this place. Been coming to Betws y Coed for 15+ years and this is still the best place to come whether you're a day tripper, mountain biker just done The Marin or Penmachno, a walker or climber. Good selection of beer including real ales. Simple but tasty food. Fast service. Reasonable prices.

The outside looks modern and inviting whilst unfortunately inside could do with a bloomin good clean. The smell of stale ale greets you and everywhere looks shabby and sticky. My hubby described it as"minty"..... Not good. Kids where hungry after a long drive and so we decided just to order sandwiches. The food wasn't bad but I won't be returning. After walking round the village there are much nicer places to go!

A very popular place, loads of outdoor seating and good, fast food from quite an extensive menu. Dogs welcome outside. Lots of room inside. Amazing location. However, staff could be quicker to clear tables, and clean them down properly for the next customers. Also, the outside could do with a good, thorough clean, especially the glass roofing over the outside tables as they are pretty dirty. It's a fabulous location and needs to be kept to a high standard.

great bar,ideal for grub if you need some but otherwise great anyway, always come here when in betws, good mix of people, locals are friendly, good crack here, can get busy sometimes, but hey your in one of snowdonias busy places, good effort sir

Great atmosphere very busy but served fairly quickly. Friendly staff . Had the Welsh burger and chips ...best burger I've ever had would have given 5 star if the chips were proper chips

Good atmosphere, staff are very friendly. They didn't have our first choice main, the chicken and bacon pene pasta was very nice but the chicken tikka curry was bland and tasted like it came out of a jar, also on personal opinion the chicken was too thin and over cooked.

Excellent service and great food served very quickly. The Stables is also in a lovely part of Snowdonia.
