Stackpole Under The Stars

Lovely Laura and Stan are living the dream within the beautiful National Park in Pembrokshire and they're kind enough to share it with up to ten campers a time. They've thought of everything to make camping as easy as possible so that you can get on with getting out and about in this beautiful part of the world.

We had the most laid back time here recently and the facilities are possibly the best I’ve ever experienced at any campsite.

Showers and toilets are immaculately clean and are housed in four innovative ‘pods’. The washing up area is stocked with plentiful supplies and recycling is made as easy as possible.

Pitches are spacious and private and each pitch has its own picnic table, some with a smart tarpaulin cover so no matter what the weather you can dine al fresco. Best of all are the fire pits with grill - we cooked our dinner on them each night and then stacked a good camp fire in them. Wood and firelighters are sold on site.

I will definitely recommend this site but imagine that I’m going to have to book very soon for next season as word gets out!

We had a glorious stay at Stackpole Under the Stars - the site itself was very well looked after, with the layout absolutely perfect for kids to play together in the middle whilst grown-up can have the option of joining in or having their privacy on the outskirts (where the pitches are).
Stan and Laura made everyone feel welcome, and Ossian was an absolute delight (he's now both my kids new best friend!). The cast iron fire baskets provided plenty of heat to cook on, and produced a cracking flame to sit around into the night time - at which point the milky way gives a great display on a clear night (of which there were plenty).
Within a short drive are stunning beaches, majestic castles and great pubs. All in all, a fab place to stay... and the litmus test? When we left, my youngest (6 years old) cried for 10 minutes!

This is a great campsite. Laura and Stan have thought of everything. We were in the Bell Tent, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Lovely bedding, hot water bottles and extra blankets for the cooler evenings which is great for sitting out around the fire in the evenings. It really is a great place to see the stars too. I can't wait to go back.

Laura & Stan made my birthday! After a disastrous journey down in our VW Camper which ended up with us being towed back home - a few quick phone calls to Laura and it was sorted! We re-arranged to stay in one of the beautiful bell tents for the evening. On arrival however, Laura warned us that it was going to rain all evening and knowing it was my birthday, offered for us to stay in the luxury glamping pod instead. It really made my birthday as the pod is stunning, so comfortable and has everything you need! We had a great night, despite the rain and will most definitely be back. Thank you for your wonderful hospitality Laura & Stan. You've got a great business and wish you all the success with it - now, when can we move in?

Lovely few days away in Stackpole under the Stars, Stan and Laura were very friendly and accommodating with a warm welcome. We stayed in the Yurt, which was fantastic, we had 2 clear summer nights that you could see the stars through the clear apex of the Yurts roof whilst lying in the comfortable double bed.
Outside we had our own fire pit, gas stove and table and chairs to chill out whilst our dog played in the long grass meadow designed into the site.

A short drive to Stackpole Quay, Barafundle Bay, Stackpole court and Pembroke, it proved to be a perfect base. Highly recommended, we look forward to visiting again soon.
