The Andrew Lloyd Webber classic, ‘CATS’, will soon be hitting our screens! This timeless musical is set to be remade for film, under the watchful eye of ‘Les Miserables’ director, Tom Hooper. There are many famous faces lined up to appear in the movie – read more here!

Nativity! The Musical is coming to Cardiff later this year! AUDITIONS for children (aged 9 - 12) to perform in this production are this Monday 27th May in Cardiff.
The producers are looking for children:- Aged between 9 and 12 years old by 23rd September 2019, no taller than 4ft 7, strong singing, acting and dance skills, live within 1 hour commute of Cardiff. In just two days’ time (24th May), the re-make of Disney’s ‘Aladdin’ will hit cinemas, starring Will Smith as the Genie. Robin Williams famously took on the original part and according to sources, recorded the lines up to 20 different ways – wow! “Williams was available for only a handful of recording sessions. So he’d rapid-fire each line as written, in as many different styles as he could create. Robin had so much freedom, and [ad-libbing] was always encouraged," Goldberg told Entertainment Weekly. We look forward to seeing the new version – do you think it will measure up?

Stagecoach Performing Arts Cardiff is thrilled to announce that two students have successfully auditioned to perform in this year's London Summer Showcase production, The Sound of Music. Congratulations to Eleanor B and Aine M, who auditioned along with hundreds all over the country. The cast will meet in August and rehearse with industry professionals for two intensive residential weeks, before performing in the Rose Theatre, Kingston. It promises to be an unforgettable experience! We're so proud of these talented students - well done!

Rehearsing for a performance takes a long time, a lot of dedication and of course, lots of hard work – can you imagine if one scene took a whole year to put together? The Spring Term has ended at Stagecoach Cardiff, with the chance for students to show-back their work for one another, in our 'in-house' demo's. It's always wonderful to see the support the students show one another and the progress once again from all 'stages' has been terrific! Certificates and awards were presented for effort and commitment to being a Stagecoach student.
