Stanwell School
Reviews
Great school but I often see problems that go unnoticed or are handled badly. (written by student)
Previous pupil & current parent. Stanwell was an excellent school when I attended and has only improved since. The facilities are superb and very well maintained. Teaching is to a very high standard and rules well enforced (without being overly draconian). I've found the current management team to be effective and to show a good understanding of matters affecting the school and pupils. There has been no shortage of support and my child feels it's a productive learning environment. The school is very accessible and easy to contact and deal with regarding daily matters. All in all, very satisfied.
i go to this school and i think it is good for education purposes and it lets you go free and chose what you want to be but some of the teachers are striked but in a good way that is good
Abosultly amazing, the doors are unlocked and freedom of speech is present unlike their rival .
This is a really good school. They have started doing doughnuts now. We have been given so many opputinites (I go to the school) e.g. DofE, Going to college, options a year earlier and it's better than st cyres.
The best school in the area with a fully equipped theatre complete with orchestra pit. Very high educational standards.
Outdated and sexist school uniform policy, however.
My son started Stanwell school last September - he leaves to school with a big smile on his face and still has the same smile OR bigger when I pick him up. That tells me a million words about the school...:)
Fantastic school, something for all students of all abilities. I did my first three years of secondary education here and ended up doing my A levels in the "second best state school in the UK" which wasn't a patch on Stanwell.
