Steak Of The Art

We're in town for the night and came across this gem of a restaurant, the steaks were amazing, chips also really tasty, good beer and wine, shame there is one nearer us

We went to dinner here yesterday (Saturday 14th April 2018) and loved it so much we went back for Sunday lunch today. From the moment we arrived the staff were friendly and attentive. The food was delicious and the beverage choices were very good. The restaurant is so quirky and lots of fun. The managers even took the time to explain the art on the walls. We would highly recommend a visit and we will certainly be going back.

Visited Cardiff for my husband's birthday and decided to book here for a nice steak. Honestly didn't let us down. Such a funky little place. The food was out of this world easily the nicest steak I've ever had. The staff were very helpful and even the music was amazing 'easy 90s' I think the lady said it was called. Right up our street. I also agree about the toilets being fab (I think a good toilet says alot about a place)

Anyway totally recommend 100% and we will be back again one day �

This place is incredible. We attended on a stag do on a warm June evening, when the temperature was approximately 20 degrees. I felt like I was on the Amalfi coast. The restaurant is decorated with tasteful art and the medium sirloin steak is perfect.



However, the food is just the warm up for the main event, yes, I'm talking about the toilets. The gentlemans toilet door is adorned with a picture of Tom Jones and an embossed golden hand print takes the place of the handle. Dinosaur footprints then lead the way to the urinals, which have a better light show than a Muse concert. Then wash your hands under a beautiful waterfall tap It's difficult to do the toilets justice in written form. You must see them.

Myself, my husband and our two daughters visited the restaurant on Friday evening, it is a lovely setting with happy helpful staff, we ordered our meals and didn't have to wait long for our food to arrive, the steaks were delicious and cooked to perfection, the prosecco was also throughly enjoyed! Highly recommend, We will be visiting again.

Lovely food...quirky place. Would definitely recommend.

Literally the nicest burger we have ever had. Amazing food, love the decor and the vodka is pretty good too! We’ll definitely be back! �

Had a brilliant experience yesterday afternoon been Christmas shopping with my daughter and we needed feeding we was off to the motorpoint which was 300 metres away n wow was we greeted with great hospitality put in a special booth coz I emailed and asked for something special ) not everyday u meet ur daughter to go watch their childhood idols Steps) whose studying hard and needed a break from Bath uni we had great service in fact quite special they weren't busy so maybe we did have that special experience but omg food to enjoy n nice atmosphere beautiful clean toilets n outstanding pudding and cocktail combo thourouly enjoyed would highly reccomend great nite had by us both 💕

Fantastic meal at Steak of the Art that I was lucky enough to win, I had the tbone steak it was melt in the mouth gorgeous hubby had fish and chips(Doesn't eat steak) best fish ever he said. All in all brilliant. Happily visit again asap.����

Epic starters- sausage & chorizo on ciabatta. Chocolate mousse was simply THE best on a peanut butter base! I had been previously on a lunch time menu & hadnt been overly impressed. 2nd visit blew me away! Really good service too!

Amazing! Lovely drinks, gorgeous food and the staff were great too. We will definitely be coming back for seconds! And a lovely touch of a glass of bubbly each for our anniversary....couldn't fault it. Thanks guys!

Absolutely fantastic place with top quality food and staff. Loved the funky decor and ate inside a dalek (the coolest dinning booth in the world). Will definitely be back when we next visit Cardiff.

Chips way to thick though and a little hard

wine was nice but very over priced

And the little cans off mixers £1.30 a bit over the top I know it's town prices but are way to expensive �

Good service, food nice, but found background music very loud.

Only thing that would stop me returning. Spoilt the night

Second time I have been to one of these places it was ok food was nice some of the food was over priced for what it was one example I asked for a side order of vegetables and what came was a bowl of kale with a bit of garlic sauce nothing else and for £3.50 that wasn’t worth the money the rest of the food was fine “ would I go to one of these again “ “maybe “

*Food was Lovely, although a little over priced!

*Staff were friendly with a lovely attitude so I did tip our waitress.

*Decor was fab and interesting.

*Online information was a little misleading, as my wife and I wanted the Xmas menu, or the lunchtime menu (both advertised on line) only to be told that these menus were not available at that point in time!

So we had to order from the normal everyday menu which wasn’t that great and very limited!



I Would come again though, but I’ve been to better places for a cheaper end bill.

Really disappointing. Came into the restaurant which wasn’t even 40% full, waited 1 1/2 hours for food and just got completely ignored every time we asked for service. Go to restaurants often and this was honestly the worst place I have visited in a long time. Would not recommend, unless you have a good couple of hours on your hands and a big patience.
