Well it's the first Sunday of the month in December, that means two things in my mind one we are open for Sunday roasts and Two, is that every venue everywhere is playing christmas. Music, the annual onslaught of Cliff Richards, wizard and slade and other such guff that we are forced to. Listen to.
Fancy a roast without the saccharine then come and join us, just top food and some nice afrobeat soul and funk.

We are open tomorrow evening for Fish Friday, it’s BYO at present. So bring what you need as local supermarkets stop selling by 7pm.
Back to the fish, this Fridays main course is mackerel escabeche, a Portuguese dish, fried fish finished with wine, vinegar, herbs tomatoes, citrus zest and garlic, simple yet beautiful. Served with boiled skinned new potatoes and salad from our allotment. Spicy rocket and endives.
For sweets we have brownies with whipped cream and a lush mixe...d fruit compote, apple pie with vanilla sauce,
Tapas served all night, come check us out,

We went as a family to Steen's Sunday lunch today. Very nice tapas followed by top quality roast lamb, with perfect veg and roasties. One of the best Sunday lunches we've eaten out (certainly can't remember a better one in Cardiff). Better still, Steen promised our son he'd do a cartwheel if he finished his (very rich) chocolate mousse. He was good to his word!

The food is fantastic and not over priced at all. Definitely recommend everyone to go and try the food. Steen the Chef is a great Chef, who knows what he is talking about and what he wants to achieve.

I had lunch here today and thoroughly enjoyed it. Found the guy running the place a real inspiration to talk to. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious - homemade salads and all sorts of vege and non-vege options. A fab place to have lunch. Thank you.

First time for us to eat here and what a fab little find. Literally across the road from work. Beautiful fresh food, really happy friendly staff, will definitely be recommending to friends and family, and will be back for more very soon. �

Fantastic buffet lunch today for our team away day - huge thanks to Steen. Delicious, freshly prepared and full of flavour. Compliments from all the team - especially for the Spanish tortilla, meatballs, goats cheese and butternut squash toasts, fish mousse, houmous.... seriously tasty! Special dietary requirements catered for perfectly too. Thank you also for the good coffee and teas throughout the day. We’ll be back!
