User

We love it here. The carvery is lovely and great value for money and child friendly so a great family pub/restaurant. The staff are very friendly Our 2 children aged 11 and 8 love it here and every time we visit wales they insist we go there. Would highly recommend it.

User

Got to be honest last night was really enjoyable we were on the upper level and the girl who was looking after us was very good at her job asking us if we’re ok and really looking after us. Very happy with the service.

User

First time here and first time the kids have sat nicely and ate everything on their plate. Me and my partner had the carvery and everything was cooked lovely. Will be visiting again on our next visit. Staff are friendly and give service with a smile.

User

After reading reviews I was a bit sceptical... but what can I say !!! First time I have ever been .. 2 adults 2 children and a baby .. the staff couldn't do enough for us and very friendly, Mark served us our drinks and dessert and very helpfull in questions regarding desserts and breakfast ...

Children had a chicken burger and it was certainly chicken, wow ! My children's reactions were ... food was hot ... lots of it and always topped up ... I most definitely will be coming again with my family ...

After food we sat out side in the park area ... we wasn't rushed to leave our table and we spent at least 2 hrs there.

Thank you bells-staff see you all again soon.

Went Sunday booked for 7

Food was great

Service was poor massive cues to order food then que for food.

Had a burger and had to que nearly 15 min just to get my chips

See the freak shakes advertised on

Hear but

No menu or mention of them in restaurant either staff to busy to ask

User

The food was lovely, but it took me and my friend a hour in the queue for our food. My friends mother and sister were 30 mins in a queue for their food. By the time they came back we were another 30 mins getting our food. Plus a old lady pushed in which I was not happy about....by the time me and my friend got back to table her mother and sister had finished. Just needs a bit of tweeking with the service. Other than that fab food

User

Busy Sunday lunch time and no roast potatoes on stand by...i could of asked and held the queue up i suppose! Every other item had fresh behind them ready for a change over when one in front ran out....as a vegetarian and having a no meat carvery...the roasties are very important

User

It's ok if you have a couple of hours to spare! Mains took 45 mins desserts took 30 mins and my husband spent most of the time running around fetching food?! You pick your pizza up but then to get your sides you have to join the carvery queue. I had to act out the entirety of Hotel Transylvania to keep my 5 year old entertained and I acquired an audience of bored kids!! On the plus sides my pizza was lovely but my choc orange dough balls had no chocolate!! I dunked them in ketchup by this point I just laughed it all off! Your staff are lovely though give them a hug from me! X

User

Food was nice, generous with the portion of meat however very slow at making sure the vegetables etc were topped up. We sat near the ice cream dispenser and some children were making a mess with the toppings. Although staff walked past several times and at one point even came to refill the ice cream machine no one cleaned the mess. Also the sauce bottles were empty and again no one thought to replenish. Over all food was good.

User

Went last night for my aunties 75th birthday she is disabled and uses a wheelchair. Food very limited tasted ok the man that served the food very friendly the rest of the staff awful went to get last drink at 10.40 and was told you can have one if your out by 11.00 basically made to feel that we should not have been there at that time as they wanted to go home so needless to say did not order another drink phoned taxi which was half an hour had to stand outside in the rain and staff came out in groups sniggering as if we where some sort of bad customers. Think it was because you pay extra for large carvery and that includes sausage extra meat and large Yorkshire pudding we got no sausage and because my husband joked about it at the bar she said well you got extra meat well excuse me that is not the point as extra meat is included bar staff bad attitude might be ok for young families as price ok but eat and go don’t dare stay for a drink or your in for some right attitude from staff what a joke. Poor person who’s business it is as the staff will ruin it for you.

User

Me and my family went here last week for our first time ,nobody to welcome us in , the food was good the chefs did a great job and were very polite , I did find it very disorganised , as after we had our main meal we then had to queue up for our dessert , it was the very busy , they only had two members of staff serving for drinks , meals and desserts , makes more sense surely to have one doing drinks orders, one for mains, and one for prepaid desserts to save people queuing twice !

User

Would not visit here again. It’s a pizza and carvery restaurant yet we couldn’t order pizza because they had no pizza dough?! Yes it’s 2nd Jan but the suppliers haven’t closed down for a month over Xmas and New Year so no excuse to have run out of such an essential ingredient! Waited 25 mins for 10 chicken nuggets to be cooked as well as slapping some dried out turkey and rock solid stuffing on a plate too which my husband had! I had a carvery where again the turkey and beef was so dry it was inedible and saw a chef putting fresh Yorkshire puddings on top of the last ones in the bowl. Good for me as I had a fresh one but feel sorry for the person who gets one from the very bottom when they decide not to fill the bowl up later on! One of the, if not the worst, meals we have ever had!

User

Went for breakfast won’t be going again!!!!

User

Very disappointed in this place. Booked a table online for my sons birthday today as we are holidaying in Prestatyn. Arrived, no one to greet us to our table. Was told your table is now ready after I found someone to ask 20 mins later. The table they situated us at was right next to the wide open front doors absolutely freezing, the girl did apologise saying we are really understaffed & it will be up to an hour wait for food. We couldn’t wait that long with a 1 yr old baby who was already cold sat near the door (doors open all the time we was there). Such a disorganised place. We walked out!

User

Very disappointed in the breakfast been twice in the past 2 weeks and the food was horrible. First time had to wait 30 minuets for beans, the sausages were very over cooked and tasted horrible both me and my partner felt sick afterwards. Today wasn’t any better no beans again the bacon was over cooked, it was stuck together snd I couldn’t get my knife through it and once again the sausages tasted horrible. Waste of my money so i will bot be having a breakfast there again

User

The one star is for the breakfast only. We enjoy the carvery. The breakfast was just awful. No sausages out and told they would be out in 5 but the wait was longer. The friends eggs were swimming in oil, yuck. The fried bread was cold and looked awful, I did not try. The bacon was ok and plenty of it. The beans were OK as was the cooked tomatoes. There was no mushrooms, no scrambled egg, no poached eggs. No toast was you cook it. Yourself and it came out black, impossible to eat! There was no coffe, had to wait while they made some and filled the urn up. The staff seemed to have lost the will to serve and I can't blame them, as the quality is so low and I guess they are tired of the complaints. I won't have another breakfast there but I will return for their carvery, as I do enjoy it. Come on, let's get the breakfast up to standard!

User

Probably the second worst meal I have ever had... I say meal... I had two pieces of over cooked gammon... eggs rock hard.. not eaten..chips (aunt Bessie’s) not eaten apart from three of them .. my daughter had the carvery... beef over cooked and tasted of smoke... and yet again aunt Bessie made an appearance with her Yorkshire puddings... with chefs you employ can’t they make them?... I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy totally disgusting

User

Absolutely shocking!! We had 3 carvery's and a cheese burger,After the carvery's were eaten, maybe 20 minutes after waiting thinking the burger wouldn't be much longer,I called someone over after another half an hour to be told someone had "cancelled" the burger!! We then had to wait another 25 minutes for it to arrive!! Will never come here again!!
