Pigs & sheep free range over 15 acres of pasture and woodland. Reared with care using locally grown feed & whatever they can find naturally. Pigs & sheep are free to exhibit their instinctive behaviours. Happy animals make healthy meat.
Swanbridge Porkers Description
As of 2016, Swanbridge pork and lamb is available to buy directly from Helen Joy (Valerie Chicken) as well as through David Lush Butchers, Penarth; and the Mobile Butcher, Sully.
I have been breeding my own Berkshire and Middle White pigs since 2013 and am now moving into pure bred, pedigree Berkshires. Bear, the Kilcot Peter Ladd boar, arrived here this year having come 2nd at the Royal Berkshire Show thanks to his breeder, Sharon Barnfield. His partner, Excelsa Edith, arrived more recently and comes from Chris Impey’s herd.
I also have a starter flock of pedigree, rarebreed Swanbridge Castlemilk Moorit sheep – originally developed in Dumfries to resemble deer and up from the Isle of Wight this year from the Godshill flock.
Berkshire pigs are known for their gentle temperaments and delicious meat with fine fat veining. Castlemilk Moorits are known for their quality meat and their fine wool.

Price List
... Sausages £8/kilo, minimum order 3 kilo string;
fresh pork joints, chops, belly £7/ kilo in 6 or 12 kilo boxes or to your choice;
bacon back or streaky - 1 kilo packs, bacon joints, hams all £12/ kilo.
Local delivery only in a chiller van, payment by bank transfer. Please don't come out to chat 😕
Swanbridge Porkers is a small business run by this one woman and her dog and mostly through Facebook.
