The Investment and Finance Society is the home for anyone looking to learn more about the stock market and how to analyse the financial statements of companies. The society is suitable for beginners and seasoned investors alike. Here is our current society statement. "We exist to promote a conservative, long term approach to investing. We will do this by educating our membership, be they beginners or seasoned investors, through links with industry, guest speakers and seminars. We will also provide course-related support such as study groups and workshops and will offer social events that cater to everyone. We wholly reject speculation in the markets. "
