Swansea University Swimming News Description
The team trains regularly at the Welsh National pool where we are able to meet the needs of different swimmers; from those who wish to keep fit and be social, to those who wish to race and achieve new personals bests. As of the season just passed, we now have 3 teams competing in the BUCS team Championships.

MEMBERSHIPS:
Before you can join the swimming team, you will need to purchase a Sport Swansea membership for £15. The swimming memberships will entitle you to train and compete. Each member has the option to pay either £4 per session or £25 for the month for training fees. The land training session on Saturdays will have an extra cost TBC.
TRAINING TIMES:
Monday: 20: 0-21: 30 (3 lanes, LC)
Tuesday: 20: 30-22: 00 (3 lanes, 9pm-10pm - 4 lanes, SC higher intensity)
Wednesday: 12: 30-13: 30 (3 lanes, LC)
Thursday: 19: 00-20: 00 (2 lanes, SC) - Half land /half swim session
Friday: 19: 00-20: 30 (3 lanes, SC higher intensity)
Saturday: land training 12 - 1pm (indoor track)
Sunday: 19: 00 - 20: 30pm (2 lanes, LC)
We do socials on Wednesdays which is a great way for us to get to know each other even better outside of the pool as well. We will be posting photos and videos after every socials as well as events to keep you all up to speed on what the team is up to.
