Sweet Peony

Today I am celebrating reaching an amazing milestone.. 5YEARS of Sweet peony. I am so overwhelmed that my little shop on the bridge has made it this far. I have so many people to thank who have helped me along the way. My family who are always there to push me forward when I'm just too tired. My friends who I share a bottle of bubbles with when I survive another huge mother's day or Valentine's. And my handsome man.. Chris, who has given foot rubs, done deliveries swept floors wiped away tears, mostly happy but some sad, with his support I can do what I love. LASTLY but MOST important of all,my wonderful customers who allow me to be apart of their lives special moments. I treasure everyone single of you. THANK YOU!!!!! üòò

This weekend I had a cancellation of a flower order and after making 11 table arrangements I was not going to let these babies go to waste... So today I spent my morning dishing them out to some local care homes and a hospice... Taking lemons and making lemonade, made my day! @ Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan

My gorgeous niece took it upon herself to hold a book sale last weekend to raise funds for her school... My sister dutifully supplied biscuits cakes and copius amounts of tea and coffee and my brother in-law was her glamorous assistant in her well practiced magic tricks all to allow this little girl to live out her dream of being @j.krowlingoffical just for the day.
This was all her own idea after visiting the Harry Potter studios in January. So inspired by the stories of t...he "fierce" Harmionie she decided she would sell her own special stories and autograph the first and only limited edition books. My very own book was inspired by my flower shop. This small act by this incredibly intelligent young women opened my eyes to the fact, that as a women, no matter how big your goal or achievement in life or in business we are inspiring the next generation of J.K Rowlings, Teresa Mays, Adeles and even little old "one man banders" like me without even knowing it.. to say I'm proud is an injustice to what this 5 year old has taught me.

All about the roses this weekend....

Loved working on this wedding.. all the goodies I got to adorn with flowers were from the China Library.

We did a Christmas wreath making class with Rachel recently and had the best evening with absolutely lovely people. After a shaky start and under Rachel's expert guidance, I made the most beautiful wreath that I am so proud of! I've even had to hang it in the house so I can keep looking at it! Thank you so much for an amazing evening, looking forward to the Easter class! xx

The flowers Rachael did for my wedding were absolutely stunning. She really made the venue beautiful and was so kind and professional throughout. No request was too big and the final product more than I could have wished for. Thanks Rachael x

All the flowers were absolutely gorgeous and even after a week are still going strong.

Her work is perfect, and she is so lovely and really helped me leading up to the wedding and even on the wedding day was running around for us all.

She provided so much information, suggested ways of keeping my flowers within my budget whilst still getting what I want. She was always responsive, very friendly and very keen to help out in any way she could.



The flowers on my wedding day were exceptional, and were all within my budget.



I cannot recommend Sweet Peony enough! I will definitely be using them for furture flower purchases.

I always buy my flowers for special occasions from Rachel and her friend.

Not only are they talented but wonderful ladies with an eye for detail.

I would never go anywhere else, my grandmother cried with the beautiful bouquet they done for her birthday and Christmas last year.
