Water polo:
WPL1 Class of 2020 at Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre!
Our first Water Polo Level 1 Coaching Course to take place at the new Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre, will come to a close today, following an on-line module and 3 days of valuable practical learning at the new Centre.
... Course Candidates hailing from the Diamonds Waterpolo, Cú Chulainn Water Polo Club Newry & Mourne Swimming & Waterpolo Club, Portadown Amateur Swimming Club, Cathal Brugha, Bangor Barracudas Water Polo, will hopefully soon be on coaching duty at their Clubs and helping to guide teams to success at Swim Ulster & Ireland Water Polo events.
Swim Ireland Education Course Tutor, Victor Kirk, was delighted with the opportunity to develop new Water Polo Coaches and was very impressed with facilities available at the Leisure Centre, as was Swim Ulster Water Polo Development Officer Phil Kelly, who has asked Lisnasharragh Leisure Centre General Manager, Peter McMonagle and Duty Manager Andrew Simpson, to pass on our appreciation to the staff on duty for all their support and assistance in helping us deliver this very worthwhile water polo education event.

Just a reminder that the next in our series of webinars takes place next Tuesday 4th February @ 7.30pm and Friday 7th February @ 11am. Each webinar is 90 minutes and February’s topic is Complaints and Disciplinary Procedures, aimed at complaints and disciplinary committees, club management committees and other club volunteers. We will cover the following: What is a complaint? What is a disciplinary matter? What is the role of the complaints and disciplinary committee? What ...procedures do we need to know and follow? Where can we seek help when dealing with a complaint or disciplinary matter? This is something that will benefit everyone - many clubs are facing issues and thus will guide you through the process of dealing with them To sign up go to https://swimireland.azolve.com/ and search “Webinar” on the events and courses page.
