Sygun Copper Mine

An interesting self-guided tour through an old copper mine. It only takes around half an hour to walk from the beginning to the end, but it's an interesting time throughout and if, like me, you'd never been in a mine, it's sure to evoke wonder as you walk into the darkness. The view at the end is stunning too, and the gift shop is excellent (and modestly priced). Also, the bus ride to there is stunning (albeit slow due to the thin roads) and the nearby village is beautiful and a short walk away.

Very fascinating to see how people worked and mined back in the day. More information would make it more interesting.

Really fun experience doning hard hats and roaming through the tunnels of the mine! Some incredible sights and the surrounding area is beautiful. Friendly staff and reasonably priced!

Far to expensive for the half hour it takes to explore. Do not recommend as a day out for the family. Metal detectors were rubbish and the food overpriced

Truly interesting journey through the old copper mine. Plenty of steps towards the end, but really gives an impression on how hard work life must have been like back then. Views at the end and further walking opportunity make this area a great stop on a day out. Could have spent longer there for sure.

An interesting self guided tour, the kids enjoyed exploring and listening to the recordings around the mine. A lot of steep steps at the end though so be prepared for that!

Top day out. Our young children loved being able to explore as a family rather than the usual guided tours that are normal at most attractions. The gold panning was good fun too. A nice day out and really good value.

Pretty cool self- guided tour of an old copper mine. Interesting and fun. Beware there are 186 stairs at the end, but the view once you're out is amazing.
