Syrian Welsh Society

The Syrian Welsh Society is a not-for-profit organisation and a lobbing forum that works towards promoting engagement of the Syrian Community in Wales with the Welsh community and the wider British community. The Syrian Welsh Society was founded in 2015 by a group of professionals of a Syrian decent residing in Wales; working and collaborating with other organisations and groups to achieve the goals and objectives of this society in five distinct areas;• Advocacy• Community support• Training and education• Refugees services• Charitable activities The work of the Syrian Welsh society is based on a network of representatives, volunteers and supporters in Cardiff, Swansea, Newport and Bangor. The Society will collaborate and work closely with various registered charities and organisations in the United Kingdom and we welcome the contributions of volunteers and friends of the Syrian Welsh community to work together towards successful and productive projects which achieve the goals of our society.
