Have visited this superb coffee shop a few times when in the area and if it wasn't so far from home I'd visit more often. Wonderful place, welcoming staff and coffee and cakes to die for. Well worth a trip.

The quirky nature of this cafe attracted us to visit. Once inside, there's a multitude of things to look at and admire. Unfortunately, the cafe seemed a little unclean. The counter/ table we sat at was very sticky (greasy?); the folder with information in it about the history of the place was covered in old food stains and the toilet needs attention. We had a slice of the lemon drizzle cake which wasn't as pleasant as we hoped for and was quite pricey for the amount given. However, the coffee was good and tasted smooth. This cafe has a lot of potential with such an interesting history, but needs some things addressed.

This place has great character. I had a great breakfast here. Just one tip, don't sit near the door on a cold day.

Love this place. Brilliant staff, quirky surroundings (former hardware store), best coffee for miles around, huge breakfasts... and cakes to die for. One of the best reasons to visit Dolgellau!

Fabulous surroundings and tasty food. The cakes have to be seen to be believed. Really lovely atmosphere. All the food is homemade and worth the wait, but can take a while to arrive so bear that in mind if you have a bus to catch!

Fantastic coffee and the best cakes ever! All homemade too. We were given the warmest welcome and they are dog friendly too! Lunch was great :) Will definitely be visiting again soon.

If you are anywhere near Dolgellau, make sure you make a visit to T.H. Roberts. Fantastic Carvetti coffee, fresh home made cakes in every variety you can think of, and really tasty locally sourced food.
