Built upon the edge of an outcrop of rock and nestled within a forested area, Tafarn Bach has a unique feature. . The rock is used in its very fabric and can be seen as the backdrop of the bar. Boasting a large carpark, function room and beer garden, Tafarn Bach is ideally situated for large and small events as well as quiet cosy get-togethers. Being only 9 miles from the Cardigan Bay coast and 4 miles from the town of Llandysul, access to main roads is quick and easy. Like food. . . . ? Bar meals are available from 12-9pm every day, with ChefŌĆÖs Specials Thurs-Sat evenings and ending the week with a mouthwatering Sunday Carvery followed by one of our homemade desserts. . Utilising the availability of fresh local produce, we aim to provide quality home cooked food at affordable prices. Like Drink. . . ? We offer a wide range of Real Ales from draught to Bottled along with Welsh Cider and Bar Standards. Whether a discerning connoisseur or a summer day thirst quencher, we aim to please. Like Music. . . ? Here at Tafarn Bach music features highly. Come along to one of our Friday Acoustic Jam Sessions (Either to join in or just listen. If you forget your own. . then use one of our many house instruments). Live music, combined with a warm and friendly atmosphere, guarantees an enjoyable evening out. We have Jazz nights one evening every month along with a themed music night where a host act in conjunction with our in-house band will perform in the large function room (which is also available to hire for parties and events). Like Bikes? During the warm summer evenings we welcome all bike enthusiasts to the Tafarn Bach Bike Meet - Held on the 2nd Wednesday of every month. With Welsh and country heritage in their blood, a warm welcome is assured from Sara & Tim .

lovely pub, they took being descended on by 5 horses and humans with no forward notice, brilliantly, served us when they weren't really open, even did food and let us move outside tables etc to make room for our muddy antisocial steeds, will definitely be going back again
great place to visit, lovely building with a great atmosphere, great staff and good drinks, if your passing through the area id highly recommend popping in
Tafarn Bach is our lovely local pub (4 miles away) although Sara and Tim have only just taken it over they are doing a fab job they are so friendly and full of fun they host Acoustic music nights and Bike nights which are fab, they do bar food which is great and sunday lunch to die for good luck to you both xx

Lovely country pub, we stayed in a local cottage and celebrated my husbands birthday there. Great atmosphere

I'd like to personally thank Tim and Sarah for the most delicious Sunday carvery today...
choice of lamb or turkey, Yorkshire pudding (which pleased Mother) roast potatoes and parsnips (which again pleased Mother!!!). Mash, carrots, peas cauliflower cheese (which pleased me) and we had apple crumble and custard for pudding.... yummmm.
Everything was home cooked and FRESH!!!! Absolutely delicious.. I would highly recommend it to anyone..
Had delicious fish and chips at the Tafarn Bach, real potatoes and fresh cod in a lovely crisp batter! Will recommend to all my friends xx

Great pub in a beautiful setting with friendly locals. Thanks to Sara and Tim for a great weekend we (Reefy blunt and the biftas) enjoyed playing there and a cracking live acoustic session afterwards with some talented musicians from the surrounding area.Looking forward to seeing you all again soon.

Fabulous Sunday carvery, the best cauliflower cheese we have ever tasted. I wish we could've stayed for the Friday acoustic night but sadly we are back home in Shropshire.
Called in for lunch, hosts were very welcoming and the fresh home cooked food was delicious. Would recommend visiting this pub children very welcome ’┐Į’┐Į
