Tafarn-Y-Deri

This used to be our favourite place to dine for special occasions and sunday lunch but will not be going back.My husband and i arrived for sunday lunch on the 5th of november.The staff were friendly and service was good.When dinner arrived we noticed there was only a small portion of veg and the beef was ok.My husband after finishing his small dinner noticed that other diners had larger veg tureens so we knew then that we were only served a portion for one.I questioned this with a member of staff who said the usual sooorrrry i will have a word with the chef which his reply was we should have asked for more.The deserts were not what we asked for as well.I told the staff while we were paying for our dinner my concerns and i was not impressed at all to be told sooorrrryyy again.They could not of cared less.A few people were annoyed at the service and food that was not up to the usual standard.We used to love this place and were regular customers but will not be going back.I told this to the staff but as i said the couldnt care less shrugged shoulders sooorrry look said it all.

Nice restaurant and wedding venue. Very quiet area, quite car park

Staff were extremely helpful and more than welcoming, the red snapper was delightful tasty and was lovely with new potatoes , the steak however was poor, tough and chewy and we have had better steak at wetherspoons , overall a lovely evening, my only advice would be avoid the steak!!!

Nice up-market feel while a local B&B and restaurant. Food was lovely. Room was nice but appeared to have been cleaned in a rush :-/

Food was good, nice relaxed atmosphere and quick service.

Beautiful location, lovely rooms for b&b. Very nice food and wine menu but on the pricier side that usual pub chains. Caters for functions and group bookings also.

Lovely decor but food poor. Salmon swimming in oil. Dry chips and just nasty.

Staff so friendly. Lovely restaurant with nice food and not overly expensive. Plenty of customers dining on both days for such a tiny village setting which says a lot
Twin room we had for 2 nights was clean, well presented with very comftable beds and was perfect for our needs.
