Last Sunday we had a little charity event in aid of Wales Air Ambulance. 🚁⛰
Despite the cold weather some of us walked to the top of Pen-Y-Fan followed with a raffle and Sunday lunch at the pub afterwards with all of the proceeds going towards Air Ambulance.
I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who participated, donated and helped make the day a success. We are so grateful to everyone for their help & we had such a fun day!!
... We are still waiting for a few more donations/sponsorships to come in, but with everyone’s contributions & support we have raised an amazing £1,067.22!!! Not bad for just 6 weeks of fundraising 💪🏻🎉🎉🎉
Thank you so much to everyone who helped us raise this money for such a worthy charity, as they do not receive any government or national lottery funding and rely solely on charitable donations and sponsors to keep something so important going! 🚁⛰

For those of you that are joining us for our sponsored walk up Pen-Y-Fan today we will be ready to leave for 12pm at the toilets at Pont ar Daf car park!
Make sure you wrap up warm as we’re expecting it to be a bit chilly up there today 🌨❄️

Debbie is the first one from the Tai’r Bull to complete the walk for our Wales Air Ambulance fundraiser! It was done on Wednesday as she’ll be too busy making the food for us other walkers on Sunday!

On Sunday the 28th of October, some of us from the Tai'r Bull Country Inn and the local community will be walking Pen-Y-Fan to raise money for Wales Air Ambulance!
Air Ambulance do not receive any funding from the government or from the National Lottery. Their operation relies solely on people donating to them, which makes events like this even more important.
