Excellent service stayed 8 nights as working in area. Staff were very friendly food was excellent. Great place to stay would recommend.

Lovely friendly pub, meals were delicious, fish & chips and also the burgers were gorgeous, 2 minute walk from train station which is ideal for our family.

Descent pint of larger and the beer garden is nice when quiet. Toilets require attention. Food was nice but came in a basket which was odd. Good place

Absolute delight. We had afternoon lunch which was very nice. Accommodated 7 people and small children. Really friendly staff and the food was excellent. A lot of people drinking so is a popular spot for locals and visitors.

Great pub,friendly staff & great food

Went for Sunday lunch a few months ago, the bar was packed which is a good sign to me that the service and atmosphere are good. Ordered at the bar and took a seat at our table, our meal was brought out promptly, the plate was almost overflowing! I was thought I would just about manage to finish it, but NO! they brought even more out for us, more potatoes, more veg and gravy! The food was lovely and very, very good value for money.

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the atmosphere was brilliant.

The only downside is we did not realise you could bring your dog along to assist in eating the meal the french bulldogs on the table next to us managed to help us out their humans were very happy for us to give them a little snack.

My wife and I shall return!!! with our dogs as backup to assist in eating a fantastic Sunday lunch/banquet!

Lovely atmosphere, pleasant and patient staff despite it being very busy and crowded. Would definitely visit again.

Excellent food service, good portion sizes. Could do with a little more for options.
