Working mill fed by a water wheel. Great restaurant selling locally made fares.

Great food at affordable prices. Don't miss it!

User

Wonderful place. Warm and surrounded by the smells of freshly baked bread. Home made cakes, scones and bara brith. Bread and rolls to take home. Pleasant, polite staff who make you feel welcome. What more could you ask for.

User

We went last year with our three little boys and had a wonderful time and are looking forward to returning this year, for a treasure hunt ( for fish) around the mill and a delicious lunch.

User

We saw this Mill being renovated on the UK programme Village SOS, a couple of years ago.

The Mill is beautifully restored and a credit to the community. Rob gave us a very informative tour this morning and we were lucky enough to see it working and making Spelt flour. The gardens alongside the river are lovely and I liked the way there were different wheat plants too.

The morning tea was delicious and the little shop had some wonderful local craft.

We would recommend a visit by all.

User

Talgarth is a lovely and friendly place, having the Mill was a bonus. Nick was our tour guide and he was brilliant, very passionate and learned a lot from him. My husband and I enjoyed the tour very much, along with gardens and cafe. Well worth a visit.

User

Stumbled on this by accident and so glad we did, the bread is fantastic and the mill is really worth a visit. So good to see the passion in what they are doing.

User

Simply amazing. Love this type of community projects where people are so passionate. Great location and bakery is fantastic. The icing on the cake however was more personal as have discovered family were millers from Brecon area and William Moore was head miller in 1861, amazing and his father was miller in Llanhamlach.

User

My partner and I were here only this morning with our twin boys and I've got to say its absolutely wonderful! We bought two loaves to bring home with us, but we seem to only have one left .. hehe ..

User

My husband and I went today and loved it. Interesting tour by a very compassionate guide. The sones were so good in the Cafe that we bought some to take to my parents. Wonderful day.

User

Lunch was excellent with home made bread, the guided tour of the restored mill well worth taking and the garden beautiful. Amazing so much of it is done by volunteers. Not for profit.

User

Great little place, learned a lot about mills and flour that I had no idea on and a great lunch in the cafe with, of course, amazing bread. Also bought some flour and used it to make banana nut bread and the taste difference in using this flour from store bought was incredible, never want to use store bought again!

User

Cracking race today. Everything about it is just well organised. Thank you for the fab tea and cake voucher and our t shirts. Definitely enter next year and we ll bring some butties

User

Amazing place to visit. As a chef and an avid bread maker loved the fact that places like this still exist. We bought some spelt flour and plan on making it into bread this weekend.

We will be visiting this place again and intend on buying in bulk next time

User

Always make a beeline for Talgarth mill when we're in the area as we were last August . Superb cafe . Lovely to walk around mill gardens watching the dippers in the stream ,

User

Absolutely fabulous in every way. We loved our visit and very much appreciated that you kept an eye on our dog so we could all take part in the tour

User

A little gem. Small but packed with interest. Well loved by the local community. The attached bakery and cafe a delight.

User
