Talybont Farm Campsite
Reviews
I have stayed at this site several times and will always look forward to returning. Facilities are pretty good with the new shower block and the pitches are generous, flat and well serviced. The views from the site are fantastic and the Usk runs alongside. Although it is a working farm, the owners are really pleasant and helpful to their guests. The village has good pubs, a cafe and post office and great walks abound from flat canal routes to quick ways into the beacons. One of the best sites in the UK for me.
Nice campsite. Very welcoming. Decent (free) showers. Close to 2 pubs.
Nice campground by the canal, very sweet pub within minutes walk, clean and well maintained. Only looses a star in comparison with some others we encountered in wales that were even cleaner and better situated...
Beautiful place in stunning location for camping lots of places for walks absolutely love it will come back again
Can't get enough of it. 2nd visit this year. Great views. Plenty of space. Great access to walks and trails. Always a welcome from Lydia
Perfectly located for walking or cycling in
the hills or along the canal. It also has three great pubs serving excellent beers and food.
We were directed here from a site up the road that does not allow dogs. What a find, pitches a really good size and camping field very flat. Although there are only two toilet/shower they were warm and absolutely spotless. The canal is just across the road and there are two pubs ( we ate in the White Hart, good food huge portions) and a small shop/cafe in the village. Would definintley stay here again on our next visit to Brecon.
Stayed for 3 nights and was such a lovely place. Owners were extremely polite and helpful. Clean showers that are free, good facilities for washing and drying plates or clothes. Very peaceful at night and a couple of pubs just up the road. The white lion do a decent priced meal and are very friendly. Will stay again. Mr Ross Hancock, miss Jemma close.
Lovely campsitee. Great views. Friendly owner. Big pitches. Two pubs within 4 minute walk. Very reasonable prices. Will be back.
Arrived very late on a Saturday evening however we where greeted with a smile. Nice clean campsite. Dog owner could be more attentive to their dogs as one wimpered for two hours before it was seen to. Lovely area great location. This is our second visit.
