Tan-Y-Fron Holiday Park

Brother arranged over the phone a 1 night stay in a pod for £38. However on arrival from Manchester they denied this completely and tried to charge us £50. We drove away.

Nice pod with a really nice view. The bathroom are nice and clean. The staff are nice and helpful. A good place to stay when going to coed-y-brein

We booked the Pods at Tan Y Fron for 2 nights so we could go biking at Coed Y Brenin, on check out everything seemed fine, payment was taken, reservation number was on the screen so I took a picture (luckily) and we used Paypal to pay. The day before departure, we thought we'd check everything was ok, as we had recieved the many Paypal reciept emails, but not an actual confirmation from Tan Y Fron. I called and got a chap called Llyr- I hope he's not one of the owners, as his attitude was shocking: "Nope, I've got no booking under that name, we've been fully booked for months" he says "there must have been a problem with the booking system, nothing I can do."
He then offers us 2 nights a day later in the week, even though they've been "fully booked for months" we had to consider this option, luckily we found somewhere else at very short notice so we asked for a refund. "I can't find any payment under that name" my wife has the paypal in her name, so the last names match he's just being even more awkward- we'd had enough so opened a dispute in paypal.

Really nice base for biking in Wales. Great facilities, stunning location and friendly staff! Would definitely come again!

Nice and quiet private top site

Awesome place to stay right in the heart of the countryside

Lovely location with elevated pitches for motorhomes. Great views and the toilets showers were spotless.
With regret I leave 3 stars as the fees leave a little to be desired. Website says motorhome = £20 and electric £2.50, which to me tallies to £22.50. To then be charged £25 (let off £1), despite stating the website discrepancy doesn't sit well. The owner blamed this on an IT issue.
This adds insult to injury when the exact same thing happened when I stayed in their B&B a while back.
Either update the website or allow people the rate advertised

Great place with great view. We used pods which were fantastic.
